Help me create characters? Each character has a hobby/occupation and a favourite food delicacy. Examples:

- Chef wants saffron spice (for high class cooking)
- Woodsman wants tea (to hydrate and work long hours)
- Ice Farmer wants aged chilis (to feel warm)

I've got 3 foods without a character match. Absurdity is welcomed and encouraged:

- Who wants truffle oil?
- Who wants kimchi?
- Who wants smoked salmon?

Feel free to suggest different special foods if you like.

Here are my costs to run my 2-day ticketed board game event for 125 people in Kamloops:

$415 - City Facility Rental, weekend, included tables and chairs
$110 - City Business License Registration
$235 - Commercial Liability Insurance, 5 mil (this was cheap. most quotes were 400)
$60 - Ticketing, platform and credit card processing fees
$70 - Square reader (to take credit/debit)
$135 - Miscellaneous Supplies
= $1025

This does not include food because that was directly passed to participants. Event was 100% run by volunteers, prizes were donated by event sponsors, and the 150 board games were lent to us by nice people.

Pay method breakdown:
73 online, 30 cash, 22 card

The Emperor Dragon doesn't have an active ability, but is worth more points than other cards.

The Qilin Chimera - my personal favourite - allows you to play a second card on your turn. It is powerful to get more cards out into your sets to score big, but it also requires discarding an different card in order to activate this power.

Happy mid-autumn festival! This rabbit is making lots of moon cakes to enjoy.

I originally wanted my game, Mythical Menagerie, to be available by this day, because it is inspired by Chinese mythological creatures. Especially the Moon Rabbit.

But sometimes a quality treat takes a little longer to make than first expected, like a good moon cake I suppose.

Game design is a lot of fun and the goal is to create an engine of fun, thought, interaction, inspiration and more. And to be successful, you have to make time for the iterative process.

Completed a full pacifist play-through in solo mode! By using Taming and Help a Stranger, I avoided fights. But even if I got in a tussle, I made sure I had what I needed to flee.
