Apparently, many snowmobiles are hitting OFSC trails without current MTO validation tags. You know, those tiny 2023 stickers that are supposed to go beside the registration numbers on the left side of your sled (as you are sitting on it). Some riders obviously missed the memo: an annual validation is still required – unless your snowmobile is operated only on land owned or occupied by you (or in certain parts of remote Northern Ontario) a validation sticker must be affixed to the registration decal (or beside the custom numbers). So your sled must display one that’s current for 2023. If yours is missing, better hustle into Service Ontario or go online!
