Hindu Castes and Sects

Jogendra Nath Bhattacharya was a pandit and one of a group of Hindu nationalists who held a benevolent view of the traditional role of caste in Indian society at a time, in the late nineteenth century, when social reformers were challenging the concept. He called the traditional varna system, comprising a four-tier ritual hierarchy, a "golden chain" that had been willingly worn by the population, and he expounded on his beliefs in an 1896 book - Hindu Castes and Sects - which was, in the opinion of Susan Bayly, "one of the first modern anthropological treatises to be produced by an Indian scholar." He had previously written Commentaries on Hindu Law and it was that which provided the impetus for his 1896 work.

Bhattacharya had graduated from the University of Calcutta. He became president of the Bengal Brahman Sabha, an organisation that claimed to represent a wide range of Brahman people within its territorial remit. He also headed a Brahman organisation that claimed to provide rulings regarding what it considered to be matters of Hindu tradition, and which was known as the Nadia College of Pandits.

While many social reformers of the time saw caste as an outmoded and pernicious institution that served to restrict the development of India as a nation, Bhattacharya was among those who saw its traditional form as a glorious institution that was symbolic of and central to the entire concept of Hinduism and also to the country as an entity. The traditional caste-related notions, including that of varna, were things that in the past had marshalled the country into an orderly togetherness despite its diversity and the frequency with which it was invaded. To Bhattacharya and similarly conservative-minded people, caste in its age-old application was therefore a good thing, although they did not dispute that the contemporary reality of caste sometimes differed from its traditional roots. He "embraced assertive nationalist ideals, yet spoke from the platform of a 'modern' Hindu 'revivalist' organisation, not as a would-be caste reformer but as a passionate defender of established Brahmanical norms."

Bayly and others see a philosophical link from Bhattacharya through Swami Vivekananda and then on to Gandhi and those who embraced the Arya Samaj, based on similar notions of "national pride, social service and revived Hindu faith", as well as a recognition of the essential role that the varna system had played and could in future play in the development of the nation.

"Furthermore, there is much irony in the fact that missionary evangelists were willing to shame Africans for murder or other violent incidents, but in the next instance were willing to harm them in order to subdue or take control of them. Instead of recognizing violence as a human behavior that takes place in nearly all cultures
and regions, the European missionaries framed Africans who committed violence as formidably worse"

"The condemnation of African cultures and family structures was often done in hopes of deconstructing their social structure, further dismantling the infrastructure of their society. Once the family structure that holds society together is dismantled, it is easier to take control over a group of people and their resources."

“Along with his land they rob him of his government, condemn his religious ideas, and ignore his fundamental conceptions of justice and morals, all under the name of civilization and progress"

"While they presented their lessons as educational, in a historiographical perspective they are seemingly mediums of cultural erasure."

"The relationship between colonial administration and missionaries is undeniably symbiotic, beneficial to both parties, and represented the common goal of each group, African cultural erasure"

When all the major Hindu Organisations in India have kept their mouth tightly shut in condemning the Bangladesh Hindu Genocide, SPH Nithyananda has issued a statment on his official page condemning the ongoing terrorist attacks on Bangladeshi Hindus. Also KAILASA’s Department of Human Services will be offering Maheshwara Puja for the Hindus who were killed in these attacks.

The full proclamation reads

Atma Shanti for the Hindus killed in the violence during Durga Puja in Bangladesh
Proclamation 100117 of October 17, 2021

A Proclamation

The SPH Nithyananda Paramashivam is deeply saddened by the recent terror attacks on Hindus during the Durga Puja celebrations in the cities of Cumilla, Noakhali, Dhaka and the southern town of Begumganj in Bangladesh since 13th October 2021.

The historic and ongoing targetted Hindu genocide in various forms including targeted extermination of Hindu culture and tradition, Hindu phobia, forced conversions, massacres, demolitions, desecration and grabbing of worship temples and monasteries, looting of Hindu temples properties, destruction of Hindu educational instituitions and Hindu libraries, Hindu liberty, mass ex*****on, r**e, looting and enslavement continues till date in many parts of the world including Bangladesh. KAILASA’s International Human Rights Council documented the atrocities and brutal attacks unleashed on Bangladeshi Hindus who survived years of tyranny. The archived onslaught on Bangladeshi Hindus includes

In 26 March 1971, Anti-Hindu extremists killed upto 3,000,000 (3 million) Hindus with a genocidal r**e of 350,000. Years of ethnic cleansing in Bangladesh shrunk the Hindu population from 22.1% to 8.9% within a span of 50 years.
In 1971, during the Bangladesh war for independence, militants and Razakars r**ed between 200,000 and 400,000 Bangladeshi women and girls in a systematic campaign of genocidal r**e. The Hindus in Bangladesh have witnessed brutal demolitions, desecration of temples including the Dhakeshwari temple and the sacred Bholanath Giri Ashram that were attacked.
From 1992 to 1993, around 1,000 temples in Bangladesh were destroyed and looted.
The SPH Nithyananda Paramashivam prays to Paramashiva for the atma shanti of lives lost in the orchestrated anti-Hindu violence where more than 80 special shrines set up for Durga Puja were targeted and attacked during the celebrations by a mob of over 500 people gathered from neighbouring districts to vandalize Durga Puja pandals, and disintegrate Hindu deities, reviving disturbing memories of the 1946 Noakhali genocide. Devotees of Hindu organizations were ruthlessly murdered while trying to protect their temples and the statue of ISKCON founder Abhay Charanaravinda Bhaktivedanta Swami, which was burnt in broad daylight. The SPH Nithyananda Paramashivam stands in solidarity and support of the Bangladesh Hindu Unity Council that has bravely voiced the atrocities and brutality against the Hindu community in Bangladesh. Further, The SPH Nithyananda Paramashivam sends healing prayers to the 150 Hindus injured during the communal ambush and to the families of the bereaved souls. Radical infiltration of Bangladeshi security forces is one of the many threats Bangladeshi Hindus face. Disturbing accounts of mass r**es go undocumdented and unreported due to internet blackouts in many parts of Bangladesh. The pain of the Hindus of Bangladesh is real, and must be acted upon by the International agencies for religious harmony and peace.

KAILASA, the ancient Hindu enlightened civilizational nation, with de facto spiritual embassies operating across 100 countries with a global presence as the largest spiritual knowledge source on Hinduism, spiritually governed with the life positive, all inclusive, universal policies sourced from Hinduism is revived by The SPH Nithyananda Paramashivam. The world needs to firmly and unequivocally denounce all attempts to devalue or minimize these heinous crimes and resolute efforts unanimously towards restoring peace and harmony in areas of conflicts. For the past 27 years, ShriKailasa Uniting Nations Against Persecution and Genocide is building relations, bridging dialogs, inspiring leaders, uniting nations towards acknowledging and fostering dialog for religious freedom and harmony. KAILASA actively guides through various initiatives dispelling myths that religion is to blame for all conflicts, on contrary, these initiatives takes responsibility to educate the role of religion in preventing wars, conflicts, and violence and actively promotes harmony and interfaith dialog. KAILASA reaffirms that all human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights, and that the right to freedom of religion is a universal and inalienable which is a fundamental part of the rights of each human being, recognizing that the right to freedom of religion includes the right to choose, share and change one’s religion and beliefs, to manifest, either alone or in community with others and in public or private. KAILASA is committed to ensuring that each human being may exercise the right to freedom of religion, and all rights therein, regardless of race, class, colour, gender identity, sexual orientation, language, nationality or other status or distinction.

Having taken the spiritual responsibility of bringing world peace,by reviving the Enlightened Hindu eco systems, KAILASA’s Department of Human Services will be offering Maheshwara Puja at the feet of The SPH for the same on 20th October 2021.

NOW, THEREFORE, by the authority vested in me as The Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism, the Head of the Ancient Enlightened Hindu Civilizational Nation, KAILASA do hereby proclaim October 18 as a day to show solidarity and support to all communities facing religious extermination and promote religious harmony.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my seal this seventeenth day of October, in the year of two thousand twenty-one and in accordance with the Vedic Calendar, during Śrī Śveta Varāha Kalpe Vaivasvata Manvantare Aṣtävimçatitame Nityayuge Prathame Pāde Plava Nāma Samvatsare Ḍakṣinayane Sri Lakṣmi Venkateṣhvara Ṛtau Ashwina Māse Shukla Pakṣe Trayodashyam Śubhatithau Ravivasara-yuktāyāṁ Purva Bhadrapada Nakśatra.

A HighCourt of Chennai judge rules on DNA evidence without "understanding" according to his own order. And sent an innocent man into prison and death.

This was the first DNA test done in India by CCMB (Center for Cellular and Molecular Biology) in Hyderabad.

But DNA fingerprinting was already popular in many other countries like US and UK.

Both STR and Single Locus Probe (SLP) were standard operating procedures in rest of the world.

Also common sense and common knowledge. To do a DNA analysis of the father the lab needs just the father's and the child's DNA. You don't need mothers.

. Thus, the estimated total “missing” Hindu population
during 1964-1991 was 5.3 million, i.e. 196,296 Hindus “missing” every year since 1964. In
other words, if the out-migration of the Hindu population was caused mainly by communal
disharmony resulting from the Enemy (Vested) Property Act, the approximate size of the
“missing” Hindu population would be 538 persons each day since 1964

The Hindu minority flee from Bangladesh to neighbouring India after their lands are
grabbed by the Government. When people lose their lands, they lose their livelihood. It affects
their social security, health, education, standard of living and religious freedom. The Hindus are
immediately beset by poverty. Yet, for the last three decades, no Government in Bangladesh has
considered repeal of the Act, despite the fact that no Government that believes in equality can
justify such a discriminatory law which makes the minority its victims

What does the word "Hindu" mean according to shastras?

Shabd Kalpdrum:
हीनं दूषयति इति हिन्दू
One who renounced ignorance, delusion and inferiority is called a Hindu

Meru Ta**ra (Shaiva Agama):
हीनं च दूष्यत्येव हिन्दुरित्युच्चते प्रिये
O My dear! One who renounced ignorance, delusion and inferiority is called Hindu

Contrary to popular perception Hindu is not a geographical construct but an identity and vision given by our ancestors as recorded in shastras.

It’s not uncommon for Judiciary in their opinion to declare all Hindu religious leaders and practices as undesirables and they don’t enjoy the legal protection of fundamental and human rights.

Practicing Hindus have not only been robbed of their right to practice their religion in peace by the Indian State but they have been declared are undesirable “Basket of deplorables” as well. Mainstream Institutions not only tolerates the persecution of Practicing Hindus but also give their explicit support and encouragement. Mainstream Institutions at their core believe the elimination of Practicing Hindus is essential for the betterment of society.
