Fruit is not to be demonized 🍇

The sugars that plants produce are stored in the root, leaf, seed, or fruit of the plant. Plants produce sugar and oxygen in a process called photosynthesis, by using sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide 🔆
The collected energy is used in a second reaction to produce the sugar glucose. Glucose is combined with fructose, which is fruit sugar, to create sucrose, our well-known table sugar.
I hope this helps to explain the difference. Also remember that when you eat a piece of fruit the sugar is not highly concentrated like in a piece of candy. There’s also natural fiber in the fruit that slows down the sugar being deposited into your bloodstream. That is not the case when you eat candy 🍭🍬🍫
