Another one for you today! https://www.facebook.com/groups/791815475175094 - is selling a LOT of AI generated covers. Now, they claim that they use stock and the stock isn't marked as being AI - however, we have checked, and the stock is very, very clearly marked as AI. If you are checking, you might miss one - but not multiple assets clearly marked as AI. This is a case of 'we know full well it's AI but we're going to play dumb and pretend we don't.' When the question was raised, the person asking was immediately banned from the group. Make of that what you will.

Thank you for continuing to bring these to our attention. This is another new 'designer' who has appeared from nowhere, has no visible portfolio or previous work, and lied when challenged about this cover set. Another one jumping on the latest way to scam authors is an Etsy seller. We've checked and they are selling a shocking number of AI generated covers and it seems a few authors have parted with their hard earned cash already. The AI use is not declared, and we understand that when asked, they are denying it's use despite the clear evidence (example in comments). Earns a solid AVOID AT ALL COSTS rating from us!

Another one for you today. This designer has started to introduce straight AI covers in large numbers. (Note: not ALL their covers are AI) When asked, they resort to blocking and banning - a big tell that they know exactly what they're doing! - to publicly 'out' designers who are using AI to create book covers without declaring it. This takes the choice of accepting the legal risk, and myriad other issues associated with AI covers, away from authors.

What this page is not for:

- Bashing designers who use AI and declare it. That's a choice they have made, and that's a choice authors can make when they purchase a book cover.

Getting into a discussion about AI in general.

Anyone can post a designer they see doing this, so that authors can be aware.
