I ordered mine from The Sounds Of Music Record Shop and you can too! The magazine even comes free with the Dawn Silva LP which sees its first time on wax. All I can say is don't sleep 💤 because the first edition sold out with a quickness ⚡
When I asked on Instagram what everyone's favourite track from the latest VF Live was Sanctuary - I Am Going To Love Him got the most votes, no surprise really it is an incredible tune!
The now rare and in demand gospel record from 1983 was mixed by the great Nick Martinelli & David Dodd who were responsible for some of the most sonically impressive records ever made.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, in a recent interview Nick stated that he had completely forgotten about this one though.
I'm sure many of would argue over which side is best - vocal or dub so I decided to cook up an edit using the best parts of both 🔪 so now you don't have to choose!

I just dropped my first ever edit! 🎉 I put way too much love and time into this lol but I'm really happy with the end result and enjoyed the process.
I reworked the tune using the best parts of the both vocal and instrumental mixes, sped it up to the perfect tempo, extended the intro and breakdown and rearranged the track make it more of a journey, like how I try and craft my mixes ✨

It's that time again - Forty Minutes of Funk 25 is here! I'm back on it again and felt a lil Sweater Funk inspired. I kicked off with some butter smooth mid-tempo boogie and gradually speeds up climaxing with the electrifying brit-funk classic 'Parisienne Girl' and finally closing with an incredible orchestral 2-step 12" which Jon describes a 'sacred tune' at the legendary Sweater Funk nights.
No doubt it would have been huge at the London rare groove parties too. So huge in fact that Bluebird records decides to reissue it 2 years later in 1984 💙 Hope you all enjoy and have a wonderful Christmas! 🌲
