In the Patan Durbar Square of Kathmandu Valley, Nepal is the beautiful courtyard of Sundari Chowk (Originally built around 1628), arranged around a superbly carved sunken water tank known as the Tusha Hiti. This is the most beautiful Tusa Hiti of Nepal in the middle of Sundari Chowk. Which is covered with gold. Hiti is surrounded by idols of various deities. There is a stone bed in front of the hiti. In this bed, King Siddhinar Singh Malla used to bask in the sun during winter and meditation.

Having religious and ta***ic significance The Jaatra of 12-year-old Rudrayani Devi of Khokana and Sikali dance are special among the various jatra festivals and cultures of Kathmandu Valley.
Although the jatra of 12-year-old Rudrayani Devi, which has a history of Lichchavi period, is mainly for two days, this dance is also shown in different places of Kathmandu Valley. This dance of Sikali Devi and Rudrayani Devi, based on the story of Shri Swasthani Vrat, is performed in the 12-year fair.

धार्मिक तथा तान्त्रिक महत्व बोकेको खोकनाको १२ वर्षे रुद्रायणी देवीको मेला तथा सिकाली नाच, काठमाडौं उपत्यकाको विविध जात्रापर्व एवं संस्कृतिमध्ये विशेष रहेको छ।
लिच्छविकालीन इतिहास बोकेको यो १२ वर्षे रुद्रायणी देवीको जात्रा मुख्यतः दुई दिन हुने गरे पनि यो नाच काठमाडौँ उपत्यकाका विभिन्न ठाउँहरुमा पनि देखाइन लगिन्छ। श्री स्वस्थानी व्रत कथामा आधारित सिकाली देवी तथा रुद्रायणी देवीको यो नाच १२ वर्षे मेलामा प्रदर्शन गरिन्छ।

Most of the chronicles explain that it was the Thakuri king Gunakamadev (924-1008 A.D.) who established the worship of Pachali Bhairav. The god is very much associated with the founding of Kathmandu, because it was King Gunakamadev who is traditionally believed to have founded both the city and the festival of Bhairav.
