BAPHÖMET Announces Debut EP "Year of the Dragon" Released August 9th, 2024!

Chicago-based heavy metal band BAPHÖMET is thrilled to announce the release of their debut EP, Year of the Dragon, dropped on August 9th, 2024, via Zenith Records. This highly anticipated release marks a significant milestone in the band's journey, promising to deliver a powerful and intense listening experience.

Year of the Dragon showcases BAPHÖMET's fierce blend of heavy metal, drawing influence from the raw energy of Pantera, the relentless aggression of Power Trip, and the technical prowess of Trivium. The EP features four original tracks that delve into themes of transformation, betrayal, politics, and mysticism, crafted to captivate both new listeners and dedicated metal fans alike.

The band, comprised of Ben Brann on bass and vocals, Mario Guzman on rhythm guitar, Yair Vera on lead guitar, and Daniel Lara on drums, has poured their collective passion and creativity into this debut effort. The EP was meticulously engineered, mixed, and mastered by Philip Winters of Tyrant, ensuring a high-quality sonic experience that highlights BAPHÖMET's unique musical vision.
