वाशिंगटन: अमेरिकी धार्मिक स्वतंत्रता पर अमेरिकी आयोग द्वारा जारी एक रिपोर्ट ने भारत को "चिंता का देश" नाम दिया है और सख्त राजनयिक प्रतिबंध लगाने की सिफारिश की है।
धार्मिक स्वतंत्रता पर अमेरिकी आयोग ने अपनी रिपोर्ट में कहा है कि भारत ने जानबूझकर धार्मिक स्वतंत्रता के खिलाफ हिंसा के व्यवस्थित कार्यों की अनुमति दी है। भारत ने अंतरराष्ट्रीय धार्मिक स्वतंत्रता कानून का गंभीर उल्लंघन किया है। राजनयिक और प्रशासनिक प्रतिबंध भारत सरकार, संस्थानों और अधिकारियों पर लगाए जाने चाहिए।
अमेरिकी आयोग ने सिफारिश की है कि धार्मिक स्वतंत्रता से वंचित रखने वालों की संपत्ति जमी हुई है और उन्हें संयुक्त राज्य में प्रवेश करने से रोक दिया जाना चाहिए। वित्तीय और वीजा अधिकारियों को भारतीय व्यक्तित्वों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई करने के लिए बाध्य होना चाहिए। आयोग ने यह भी सिफारिश की कि अमेरिकी दूतावास अल्पसंख्यकों और पूजा स्थलों की सुरक्षा के लिए कानून प्रवर्तन एजेंसियों के साथ संपर्क करे। आयोग ने अल्पसंख्यकों की सुरक्षा के लिए सिविल सोसाइटी फंडिंग बढ़ाने का भी आह्वान किया।
बी जे पी के सत्ता में आने के बाद, भारत में अल्पसंख्यकों का जीवन असहनीय हो गया। धार्मिक स्वतंत्रता पर अमेरिकी आयोग के अनुसार, 1919 के बाद धार्मिक स्वतंत्रता में तेजी से गिरावट आई।
रिपोर्ट में कहा गया है कि मुस्लिम विवादास्पद नागरिकता विधेयक से प्रभावित होंगे क्योंकि योगी आदित्यनाथ और अमित शाह मुसलमानों को निशाना बना रहे हैं।
अमेरिकी आयोग ने बाबरी मस्जिद पर भारतीय सुप्रीम कोर्ट के फैसले की भी आलोचना की है। रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, अधिकृत कश्मीर की विशेष स्थिति के निरस्तीकरण, गोरक्षा के नाम पर हिंसा ने मुसलमानों के खिलाफ अत्याचार को रास्ता दिया है।रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, फरवरी 2012 में दिल्ली में चरमपंथियों ने मुसलमानों पर हमला किया। पचास लोग मारे गए जबकि पुलिस दंगाइयों का समर्थन करती रही।
आयोग की रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, केवल मुस्लिम ही नहीं बल्कि भारत में ईसाई भी चरमपंथियों के निशाने पर हैं। अमेरिकी रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, 300 से अधिक ईसाइयों पर हमला किया गया है, जिससे उन्हें धर्मांतरण के लिए मजबूर होना पड़ा। भारतीय सुप्रीम कोर्ट के आदेशों के बावजूद, मोदी सरकार ने समूहों के हमलों को रोकने के लिए कानून नहीं बनाया है।
अमेरिकी आयोग की सिफारिश के बाद भारतीय प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी, गृह मंत्री अमित शाह और रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह पर प्रतिबंध लगाए जाने की संभावना है। भारतीय जनता पार्टी, राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ और पुलिस सहित सरकारी अधिकारियों को भी प्रतिबंधों का सामना करना पड़ सकता है। 2005 में गुजरात के मुख्यमंत्री के रूप में नरेंद्र मोदी को भी यात्रा, राजनयिक और वीजा प्रतिबंधों का सामना करना पड़ा। नरेंद्र मोदी पर गुजरात में मुस्लिम विरोधी दंगे फैलाने में भूमिका निभाने पर प्रतिबंध लगा दिया गया था

On the other hand, the Congress had alleged that Anil Ambani was with Prime Minister Narendra Modi when he visited France on April 10, 2015 to purchase 36 aircraft.
