It's a bit funny how my journey with trading card games has become more than just a hobby—it's a crucial part of steering Collektr toward growth.

👋🏼 How would you explain your job to someone outside tech?
I manage people and systems that connect students to tutors for homework help, develop a JARVIS for the students, and bring in more customers.

I make sure that these people are well taken care of, and that the systems are efficient.

🧐 What's something about you or your job that would surprise us?
I am still a college student and I love to study Philosophy

🏆 What has been the biggest highlight of your career so far?
I started Cheko in my college dorm room, with zero outside capital, and grew it with zero marketing dollars.

AI. 10 years from now, the world will be very, very different.

🗣 What's one thing you can keep talking about for hours?
Business.

Imagine being a digital wizard for the freight forwarding world. That's us at Fr8labs.

We turn traditional freight forwarding companies into a tech-savvy, app-loving, AI-chatting powerhouse.

🧐 What's something about you or your job that would surprise us?

I'm terrified of roller coasters, but I've skydived before. right? But yeah, never again.

Also, I survived a 5-year long-distance relationship (she is my wife now and we have 2 adorable kids).

💼 What advice would you give someone starting out in your industry?

With regards to being a startup founder, be careful what you wish for!

You often get all the positive things that you might have been expecting to get from the journey, alongside a bunch of unintended downsides and consequences.

🎥 What's your favorite movie/TV show?

My guilty pleasure is sitcoms. I have Friends, The Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, and Brooklyn 99 running on repeat on my phone constantly.

Strawberry and cookies and cream! They are classics for a reason.

Few are aware that I play musical instruments, specifically electric guitars.

My musical journey spans 8 years, commencing at the age of 8.

Over this period, I went through some music education for over 5 years, won some band competitions, composed original songs, was awarded as the best guitarist, and also became a judge for a music competition.

This year, I am interested in seeing how individuals and companies are exploring more effective ways of reaching their audience.

EV infra and support. As more drivers opt for electric cars, the infra and support need to kick into high gear, Another is AgTech.

The third is closer to what pitchIN does, which is to offer alternative financing by way of Token fundraising, which is also non-dilutive.

Closing an investment is actually the easiest part of investing, and often the most glamourized one.

Startups celebrate when the money hits their bank, but VCs wait a while longer because we need that exit to happen. This is why we invest with an exit strategy in mind.

Fintech is still highly relevant and important to us.

Beyond fintech, we're also keen on investing in agrifood tech, biotech, climatetech, and deeptech, aimed at addressing problems faced by our agriculture and manufacturing sectors.

WeWork…people draw a lot of similarities between coliving and coworking (some for good reasons, some not so much).

👋🏼 How would you explain your job to someone outside tech?

I oversee investments in high-risk, innovative, and disruptive technology companies and products for a select group of ultra-high-net-worth clients.

🧐 What's something about you or your job that would surprise us?

I'm a twin, so if you happen to see me around in public but I don’t acknowledge you, you might have mistaken me for my twin brother.

🏆 What has been the biggest highlight of your career so far?

The most significant highlight of my career, in terms of work, has been the profound satisfaction of witnessing my ideas and investments flourish, generating substantial returns.

🔍 What's a startup trend or space you're watching this year?‍

This year, I am particularly intrigued by generative AI and digital assets.

💼 What advice would you give someone starting out in your industry?

What you know is limited; what you don't know is limitless. While no one excels in everything, strive to become the most well-rounded version of yourself.

Stay humble, remain receptive to ideas, stay curious, and be prepared to adapt.

🗣 What's one thing you can keep talking about for hours?

Pretty much everything! But I love discussing ideas and innovations.
