My FIRST Huss Breakdance...the sound of those motors!!
It was a wet day in the North East a few years ago when, after taking 4 hours to pluck up the courage to get on it, I reluctantly climbed aboard this stunning machine.
I should point out that this was the opening day of this machine, and as such the artwork and lighting were still a work in progress at this point before these upgrades that have made it the incredible machine that it now is.
Does anyone have any memories of riding or seeing their first Huss Breakdance?

Huge shout out to all the showmen who welcome me onto their grounds/ machines repeatedly, without their support there would be no content for me to create.
I've not managed to get to many places this year, and yet we've still added over 7K new followers this season to our page.
For the last 4 years, RIDES UK has been, and will always be about one thing and one thing only, bringing you all the fun of the fair in the most creative ways I can think of. ππ π‘π₯

With all the uncertainty over filming at HPWW this year, at this point in time it looks as though I won't be visiting this year.
I was looking forward to covering the event for the first time on the channel but with the cost now associated with attending and no guarantee of not being asked to put the Go Pro/DSLR/360 camera away whilst there, the gamble is just to much financially.
I'd rather continue to put the money towards a number of other events locally and beyond which are easier to get that filming assurance from and permit the use of all the camera equipment I have, to obtain a wider range of footage.
I'd like to make it clear that this is in no way an issue with any of the showmen there, it is with the organisers themselves who I (and others) don't seem to be able to get any sort of clarification response from, despite numerous attempts, which considering the size of this operation, is dissapointing.
I'm happy for all those who have managed to film so far and look forward to seeing further vlogs and photos from this year's event, which looks fabulous as ever.
In the meantime our own Christmas event coverage will continue very soon! ππππ‘π βοΈππ

π BLACKPOOL CHRISTMAS BY THE SEA βοΈπ
Blackpool's Winter Wonderland event is back again for 2023 with new rides and lots of festive food and drink on offer at the Tower Headlands.
Theres the Skydance starflyer (a Van Der Beek starflyer) which sends riders almost 200ft in the air to catch those aerial views of the illuminations and the crowds on the Promenade below, not to mention a great view of the tower!
A Fabbri Booster is a new addition this year and looks fantastic helping to light up the event, spinning riders a full 360 above the prom.
Theres a whole host of family and children's rides from bungees, spinning tea cups, 100ft Ice Slide, FREE Ice skating rink, and the star of the show for me was the Sleigh ride, with its incredible lighting package, and multiple sleighs to send you gently into the air all under Santa's watchful eye.π
Theres festive food and drink a plenty this year with more food than ever and an indoor bar area all themed to Christmas with candy canes and illuminated garland.
The event is FREE to enter and just pay for rides and food as you go to suit your budget.
Card is accepted in a lot of places there but take cash with you as a back up.
If your not from Blackpool and are planning a visit, there's a lot of parking nearby but get there early as Blackpool is still busy at weekends.
Under the gaze of Blackpool Tower, Christmas by the sea is a must visit for families, and thrill seekers too!
The event runs until the 1st January 2024. (Christmas jumpers optional! π¬π

What a great night, I was by the winds as it was too strong for Skydance to run in the end, which is totally understandable, but I took lots of photos of everything, it's a cracking event this year, so much to do and so much to eat and drink! I will be back ππ

Final day of New Brighton Summer Festival 2023!ποΈπ₯π π‘π What an event this was, huge shout out to the organisers who managed to bring it all together on the dips at New Brighton for what has been the biggest event held on that ground for many many years. Big shout out also to George Sharland who brought so many great thrill machines to the Wirral, including Kents Superbob, Hackett's stunning Ski Jump, Nicholas Hill's Sizzler as well as Mad Max Miami among lots of family rides and attractions.
