The Knoxville 100 in is the Books! Adam Bell set fast time and lead the field to green but it would be Lords of Dirt’s own Michael Crouch to take an early lead. Richard Murtaugh Jr was hot on the leader's tail and they would battle it out for a few laps. Murtaugh would take the lead and cross the checkered with over a 3 second advantage on 2nd place during the 40 lap green flag stint. Joshua Kunstbeck would battle with Crouch for 2nd but couldn't quite get past him.
Thanks all who joined the race, be on the lookout for a new race in the near future.

KNOXVILLE 100 RACE INFO:
Anyone looking to practice for the upcoming Knoxville 100 race, we will be using the iRacing Knoxville setup for qualifying. The only thing different for the heats/mains is the fuel will be at 14gal.
The lobby will be at night, the weather will be automatically generated. Qualifying the track will be at 5%, and the track state will carryover from there on out.
We are running a $5 to win TEST session tonight at 7:30 PM EST.
This is to test race settings for Sunday’s big money race.

Rules of the race weekend:
-Absolutely no black flags will be cleared. All yellows and black flags will be controlled by iRacing. (As if it were an official lobby)
-Fixed setup race
-2 fast repairs
-Rough drivers will be given an EOL. If unsportsman-like conduct occurs, driver will immediately be removed from the race. We understand racing deals happen, but if it is a continued issue, the driver will be removed.
-If you are blinking, you will be given a warning. If it does not clear up, you will be removed from the race.

We are considering changing our inaugural season format from per-race entry fees with payouts each night and a points fund, to a one time payment with no payouts in normal races, only a points fund at the end of the season. Any and all feedback is appreciated.
Due to a low number of entries for tonight’s race we have decided to postpone the inaugural race for 1 week. All who sent entries, refunds have been issued. We will work more on promotion this week to hopefully get entries higher.

A close finish between Gavin Collins and Michael Crouch at the end of a long race. Race leader Jason McConnell had some "mechanical" issues and had to retire early. Coty Slawson then pulled took the lead and had a strong run until he was involved in a mid race caution. We had some good racing overall, just a short spree of a few cautions. Thank you all for coming out!

We will be using our official league format (Practice, Qualifying -Top 15 advance to main, 3 heats with 9 total advancing from those for a total of 24 cars). It will be fixed setup as always, pro late models.
