After meeting in 2018 and touring as members of the Animal Spirits ensemble, electronic producer James Holden and clarinetist Waclaw Zimpel now deliver a six track collaboration album entitled The Universe Will Take Care of You.
This is very experimental, Holden is doing arpeggio clouds and Zimpel grains, organ and alto clarinet but it’s really hard to pinpoint which sound belongs to whom. You’d better take it all in as a whole and immerse yourself in this polyrhytmic ambiental madness. Available on bandcamp.
