Embattled Mike Sonko infringing on his bail terms.
Barred and frustrated Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has today backdated a letter dated 5th Dec 2019 and appointed Allan Mugambi a close ally of EALA MP Simon Mbugua as the CECM for Finance replcaning Pauline Kahiga in unprecedented move to control county coffers from his Mua home.
Anticorruption Judge Justice Ogoti barred Mike Sonko from office in line with Justice Mumbi Ngugi however, Mike Sonko has now resorted to dubious tactics to hold on the control of the finance docket.
In his ruling Justice Ogoti threatened in the event that Sonko will breach bail terms he will be subjected to pretrial detention.
Considering this development behind the scene the office of Director of public prosecution should move with speed and appeal for pretrial detention to safeguard Nairobi County from plan by Sonko to manipulate and interfere with evidence and and intimidation of witnesses.
