The calm between the storms ⛈️

This summers theme is calm. We planned for spontaneity but not a lot has come our way. Our Spring was super busy and Fall will be non-stop trips.

Basking in the calm and taking it slow has been SO nice.

🌊Oregon Surfing 🏄‍♀️

I don’t love surfing but I did enjoythis day. The waves were small and it was low tide when we got there (oops lol) but the group & the weather made it fun 💙

Working full time, it’s hard to remember to slow down on the weekends and stop focusing on being on a timeline.

We drove from the northern coast to the central & stopped at a nice little beach side spot for the night. Grateful for the quality time with Adam & Gracie doing what we love where we feel most relaxed.

Located downtown, right in the heart of Boise. Tons of restaurants, bars and tasting rooms surrounding this urban gallery.

Oregon Wine Country Boutique Hotels ✨

📍 The Atticus Hotel | Mcminnville, OR

Save this for later because our stay was nothing short of 5 stars. The perfect place to stay while in the Willamette Valley.

We stayed in the bunkhouse suite, the space and the beds were incredible. Comfortable and a spot for each of us to keep our stuff.

We were welcomed with a glass of bubbly and chocolates for all. Walking distance to all the cute local shops and eateries McMinnville has to offer. (More on those later).

They also have a free 24hr coffee / espresso bar. (key to my heart)

Cypress, the hotel bar and restaurant attached recently opened and was so delicious and convenient.

The decor was 🤌🏻 Melted my little design loving heart.

If you’re planning a trip to the Willamette Valley, definitely plan to stay here. I can’t wait for the next excuse to have a staycation here.

America really is beautiful 🇺🇸

Some of my favorite shots in my favorite places. From the Redwood forest to the Gulf Stream waters, thankful to have made it to 42 of the 50 states & drive some of the most iconic drives.

Life in Raw 📷

The Oregon coast always brings me much needed relaxation & recovery. The waves, juxtaposition of calm meeting chaos.

Oregon takes it up a notch with dramatic cliffs and mountain back drops.

If you’re up for nonstop views, highly recommend a drive along the famed 101, stopping at the cute beach towns for food & checking out all the little shops.
