This year DC Ekushey Alliance (DCEA) is having 25 socio-cultural organizations from the DC area. In collaboration with Arlington County and Arlington Arts, organized by DC Ekushey Alliance and managed by Dhaka University Alumni Forum, the 14th edition of DCEA is in full swing.

Founder of the Environmental and Renewable Energy Caucus, Delegate Lopez was instrumental on key climate change bills such as the Virginia Clean Economy Act (Chief Co-Patron), the Solar Freedom Bill (Patron), and more. This legislation has helped take Virginia from one of the worst states on climate change to one of the best.
