Citizens First Party Youth Wing would like to correct *Mr. Vernon Mwaanga* , the once celebrated Political icon in Zambian politics over his recent screaming press statement were he said and i quote *" There is no alternative to UPND in 2026 "* end of quote.

Firstly we know Mr. Vernon Mwaanga to be a highly celebrated Political guru in Zambian politics but we didn't know he has transformed into a fortune teller to know what's coming ahead of 2026.

We understand Mr. Vernon Mwaanga may be aloof from reality whilst issuing that statement because modern day politics have evolved as compared to what was experienced during the time he actively participated in politics.

To bring Mr. Vernon Mwaanga up to speed we wish to categorically state that *CITIZENS FIRST PARTY* is the best alternative to UPND as it does not only come in with the necessary experience in government but has given many Zambians confidence after the launch of party Manifesto which gives a clear roadmap on our country's economic transformation agenda that will actualize real opportunities meant to improve the welfare of our country and it's citizenry.

We invite Mr. Vernon Mwaanga to take time and read our party Manifesto, am sure he will become the newest member of citizens first party.

We wish to make this clarion call to Zambians for them to take interest in reading the *PARTY MANIFESTO* in order to appreciate how we hope to transform the welfare of our Nation and it's citizenry.

SUSPENSION OF THREE CON COURT JUDGES BY PRESIDENT HICHILEMA. CF PRESS STATEMENT

The suspension of the three constitution judges Justice Palan Mulonda, Justice Anne Sitali and Justice Mungeni Mulenga by President Hichilema can only been described as vergence from the man who cannot forget or forgive.

This decision is very clear that the President wants to interfere and instil fear in the judiciary just because of the 2016 petition of Edgar Lungu that did not go his way. For him it's payback time, it's time to fix those he hates. This is one of the reasons as Citizens First we have serious reservations on the abuse of power by the President who is manipulating institutions of governance.

We call upon LAZ to take keen interest in protecting men and women on the bench that are under attack by the executive. LAZ must investigate the motive of the judicial complaints commission and the interest of the person who took this matter to them and establish if this was a fair process or just a way to hound out the judges. This matter was already adjudicated on by the Vincent Malambo judicial complaints commission. How then was it re opened and what has been the Presidents interest?

We are aware of the matters that are still active in court and this decision made by the President is merely meant to instill fear in the judiciary.

We call upon all Zambians to defend our constitution and not allow Hichilema to continue interfering with the Judiciary.
