Reminder - to slow down a while. soak in every moment both the good and the trying days. Build a foundation for an unrushed balanced life. Be in the moment and hold ever so close to your heart, all firsts and lasts these years are short.

*In a maternity milk bath session I hope for mummas to have a sense of connectedness, your body to feel nourished.
mostly feel the intimate joy of closing a chapter to start the next most important journey of motherhood.

These session are definitely extra special and fun with your partner, little one or just on your own.

I’d love to incorporate or offer mums to capture their breastfeeding journey whether it be the start or the end (all ages welcome) its such a powerful yet precious time why not keep that forever

Who writes a list for their partner or buys themselves a gift?

Always adore the kids gifts no matter what 🤍 so much love goes into those drawings, wrapping things you own around the house, handprint pictures, breakfast in bed and those beautiful cuddles n kisses you get.

true unconditional love

“People will try to tell you about that first moment.
Where you fall in love. You’ll Nod, you’ll sit there In awe try to make sense of a feeling that couldn’t be put into words.

How do you explain about knowing love but not like this, how it runs through your veins.

How with each inhale you’ll consume it forever from this moment forward.

That your new home is whereever they are, and theirs is simply you!

How do you explain this pain with purpose, the one that pulls every once of strength from your body. One you never knew you had, one that waited for you.

How do you explain wanting the world to know about this perfect little person your staring down at and in the same breath, wanting to protect them from it. That you’ve never felt so fierce and so vulnerable, that your arms have never felt so important.

How do you explain that months of growing them, would be the beginning of them growing you. How you can be born again, still you and someone new.

How do you explain how it feels as if you’ve known them forever. How they find your eyes like it’s all they’ve been searching for.

How do you explain how time will stand still, but never still enough to catch it.

How your legs will wobble in this new role but you’ll never stand so tall
And how heartbeats have their own language.

That this love has a sense of melancholy, you’ll feel everything, it’s so big it hurts
It’s peaceful and it’s terrifying

A journey where your destination travels alongside you. A detached piece of yourself that makes you feel whole. A colour before the bloom.

Newborn session keepsakes let’s talk…

As a mum I am all over buying keepsakes and keeping the blankets my daughter first used, hospital tags, her bellybutton, Teddy’s, ultrasound pictures, jewellery, first dummy, pregnancy test, my belly strap from hospital holding the measurement of how big I was ect

Now they are all in a draw/box I never look at and a few things are lost 😞
if anything I wish I had taken photos with them or included them in our newborn session.

When you pack for hospital set some reminders or notes on your phone for your partner/ nurses/ midwives/ family to help take pictures - even if you don’t want them at the time 😂 and keep things you want.

So when you plan a newborn session please bring these precious keepsakes and anything you hold dear to you from this time. You won’t regret it trust me.

Let’s create beautiful timeless memories of these details.
