Another DIY kind of weekend - cylinder head gasket installation.

This one's been bothering me for days. I was hoping to bring it in to a shop for service since it's been leaking oil non-stop. But, since I have the free time (and Youtube for the help) and already bought a brand new gasket, I went to being a grease monkey for a day. 👨‍🔧

Productive day today! 🎉

Took a break from riding this weekend and thought about tinkering my mom's scooter.

- Replaced ball race bearings
- Replaced the speedometer cable
- Installed a Pitsbike front brake pad
- Installed a new, Thai-inspired, braided brake hose (sawadeeka!). Took me hours to bleed the brakes.

What's next? 😎

Always remember to follow proper maintenance schedule for your chains and sprockets as well. This is one of the most crucial parts to maintain in order to have a safe and smooth ride. 🏍️💨

Long over due change oil and my first time doing this at home 😱😱😱

Usually, I go to HBikers or Motology for my PMS but had to DIY for now. Took me a while to find my preferred engine oil (Lucas Oil 10w50 Fully Synthetic) since stocks were getting scarce. As you can see, it's looking murky but still manageable. Never to delays again 😤😤😤

Annnnnd now, I'm ready for tomorrow's breakfast ride! 🏍️💨
