Hello :) I'm Cailín and this page is for my new house alias GRL.

I started djing in 2009. I was lucky to grow up in a city (Waterford, Ireland) where thiriving house and techno scenes went hand in hand. As a result, I am equally influenced in both genres. My record collection is 50% house 50% techno. Lots of tracks I've produced are house.

Recently, when having a mix at home for pleasure, I tend to play house. I find it nourishes my soul in a different way to techno. I guess this is natural when my focus has been on techno for the last few years. So it got me thinking:

While Ive leaned toward techno as a career path, I feel its a shame to let a whole other side of me as an artist go to waste. Why not make a house alias!

Chosing a name was easy. I wanted to mirror my own name Cailín, which is Irish for girl. Amd so GRL was born :)

On Stephens Day, I debut this alias at the annual party

Playing a very special gig this weekend at a Sold Out Cork City Hall. I'll be opening my set as GRL playing house and will gradually work my way up to techno where I'll begin playing as @cailin1210 for the second half of my set.
