On Sunday 7th July, come and witness the Midland Maestros face off against the London Legends at the West Bromwich Dartmouth Cricket Club. 🏏

Following the success of our event last year the two teams will be battling it out on the field in the hopes of raising money for (an organisation which provides hot food and drink to those living on the street and on the poverty line). 🙏

Whether you’re a cricket fan or just looking for a day out in the sun this event is for you. There’ll be food, music and all of the vibes. ☀️

Burger King brings back its Bean Burger! 🍔

We’re on the hunt for the best vegetarian / vegan foods out there in the hopes of a meat-free lifestyle.

Today we venture on down to Burger King after hearing they have brought back their infamous Bean Burger. Not everyday processed soya or pea protein, sometimes a good old bean burger does the job - and this one certainly does.

A victory for humanity as the first flight due to take asylum seekers from the UK to Rwanda was cancelled last night minutes before take off.

The European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) intervened just before the flight was due to take off. The court deemed an Iraqi man who was on board the flight faced a “real risk of irreversible harm” if he remained on the flight.

The court also said that the UN had raised concerns that UK asylum seekers sent to Rwanda would not have access to “fair and efficient” procedures to determine their refugee status.

Priti Patel, the Home Secretary found it surprising that the European court had intervened after domestic governments had sanctioned the flight. It must be understood that the ECtHR has the final say when it comes to human rights issues.

Priti Patel said that this was disappointing but “preparations for the next flight begins now”.

The Rwanda asylum plan was announced by the government in April and would see asylum seekers who cross the Channel to the UK domicile in Rwanda so that they can claim asylum there instead. The Rwandan government said it remains committed to its deal with the UK.

Joaquin Phoenix has been pictured reading the script to Joker 2. Director Todd Phillips also reveals the cover of the script, co-written by Scott Silver.

It had been unknown whether Phillips had planned to make a follow up in which Phoenix won an Oscar for Best Actor.

have announced that from 2023 the iconic game FIFA will be renamed to EA Sports FC.

The announcement has been followed by the confirmation from several football clubs such as Real Madrid, PSG, Manchester City and more that they have “joined the club”.

The Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga and UEFA have also joined the movement. Premier League chief executive Richard Masters said “EA SPORTS is a long-term and valued partner of the Premier League, and we look forward to continuing to work together in the new era of EA SPORTS FC.”
