Looks like we've made it to the end of our journey to the Guillermo del Toro-nto International Film Festival! It's the final night of the festival. And it looks like the boys saved the best for last. Rounding out the Guillermo del Toro-onto International Film Festival is The Shape of Water (2017). It also sounds as though the awards are being announced! Who will take home the Golden Hellboy?! Hello everyone!! Long time no listen(?) We hope everyone has enjoyed our quarantine catch-up episode from two(!) months ago and we hope you're all doing okay despite everything that's happening around us.

We've decided to change the format of Twin Speaks up a bit; instead of doing weekly episodes with some movie news and a featured new release, we're going to be doing a specific person's filmography. And this person could be a director, an actor, a cinematographer, or even the person who creates a score for the movie! Now, we don't mean their ENTIRE filmography. We only plan on doing 3 episodes per person on a weekly bases.

We decided to go with this change because it makes following along much more accessible. Especially since viewing movies in theatres is simply not doable with Covid-19. To us, it's an unnecessary and needless risk for us and cinema employees.

So! The first person we've chosen for the new edition of Twin Speaks is Guillermo del Toro! Starting off with his 2013 sci-fi action romp, "PACIFIC RIM" with the new episode releasing tomorrow!

Unbelievable. They were told not to, they were warned, for the betterment of all of civilization not to another episode but doggone-it they didn't listen. They're back, baby! And better than ever! After a brief hiatus in which both hosts declined a statement about their whereabouts, and we, as listeners and die hard fans, can only speculate where they were and what they were up to. But they're back and which some spicy takes and some piping hot pancakes I mean content. On this episode they recap the miserable 91st Oscars in which the biggest winners were aging white dudes with trust funds. The fellars also read off some tweets from cinema's biggest night, and talk about how 'Green Book' is about the time a racist guy had a black friend once. Well, they braved Snowmageddon 2019. Not even the forces of mother nature could stop them from bringing you another episode. They were faced with snow, sleet, hail, wind, rain, more snow, and a little bit of sunshine but god damnit they're back with some piping hot content. On this week's episode the fellars watched Liam Neeson's newest non-'Taken' role, 'Cold Pursuit.' They also discussed the dumpster fire that is the Academy Awards, and the disaster that was 1989.
