The Rocky Mountains 🏔
The mountain range stretches for more than 3000 miles over 6 states and it even divides the North American continent with the aptly named Continental Divide. The highest peak in the Rocky Mountains is Mount Elbert. Mount Elbert is located in the state of Colorado and is 4401 meters high, or 14,440-feet. Did you know that all the rivers on the west side of the Rocky Mountains flow to the Pacific Ocean while all the rivers on the east side of the Rocky Mountains flow into the Atlantic Ocean?

'Lundi' as the Atlantic puffin is called in Iceland. But there are more nicknames. 'Sea Parrot', 'Penguin of the North' and even 'Clown of the Sea'. This is mainly due to the black and white feathers and a large and colorful bill. In the wild, these winged wonders live for around 20 years. Puffins can be seen in Iceland from early April to late August.
