Permission to feel - Kirsh Rant 010

A lot of sh*t is going on right now. It’s scary, exciting, haphazard, and hard to make sense of.

Whatever you’re feeling, I encourage you to give yourself time and space to FEEL and PROCESS what you’re feeling.

Tell someone (else) how you feel. Talk with your family and/or friends. Try and express yourself, verbally, as much as possible.

So when the storm has passed and the dust begins to settle, clarity will come as we try and make sense of all of this.

Also, I feel it’s important to include (not shelter) children from all of this. They will likely remember this experience when they grow to adults, and whether they have positive or not-so-positive memories is something to keep in mind.

Allow them a space to express and feel emotions as well as ask questions to give them as much clarity as possible in times of uncertainty.

I am self-employed and I work in many different industries and positions simultaneously. I consider myself a multi-disciplined artist / creative professional with a wide range of experience working in the following industries and / or areas of expertise: media, creative design, information technology (IT) consulting, web development, accounting, and business development / proposal writing. Currently, I am a freelance IT consultant, specializing in data backup and recovery, networking, hardware upgrades, and repair. Additionally, I am an active video content creator, building a channel on YouTube.com/JessicaKirsh. I am also a freelance stock and editorial photographer, actively selling media across more than 20 internationally recognized stock media agencies.
