stormed into the US Open semi-final last night - well technically, this morning - in dramatic fashion.
He's the youngest to do so since Nadal.
If that has you ready to pounce as a collector, you may have missed your best opportunity.
Here's why...
Back in May, signed Alcaraz to his first licensed trading card contract.
A few weeks ago, the first true Alcaraz cards debuted. Everything from base cards ($42) to patch autos ($3,600).
No packs, just grails.
Before last night's match, they were fully sold out. With 5,750 cards on offer, sales totaled $1.39 million!
Already though, raw cards that have trickled onto markets are selling at big premiums.
Supply is low, and the demand for the next great international tennis star may grow as he approaches world no. 1 status.
Whenever the first licensed Jannik Sinner cards drop, prospective buyers might not be caught flat-footed. But nobody will be as marketable as Alcaraz. Can lighting strike twice?
Don't sleep on the global tennis audience!
