Let me introduce myself, my name is Patric, I’m a music lover from Sweden, and I am Chosen Tracks. I started Chosen Tracks to help you. Today there is more music than ever out there, and it is a relentless flow. Around 80,000 tracks are released on streaming services daily. This is Wonderful! Some of these tracks are bound to be really good! But how do you find them? I know the top 100 charts are

not for me, and since the algorithms out there just don’t seem to do the trick neither, I thought they may also come up short for you.

What is the alternative you may ask? Well, that’s where Chosen Tracks comes in. My goal is to help you find new songs that you will like and spare you from listening to songs you won’t like! I will listen to them instead. Good deal, right? And since I have such great taste in music (at least if you ask me), and I am a never sleeping song seeker, I will be Your Guide in Music. I’ll systematically rummage through the weekly releases and then pick out the biggest or most interesting tracks for my weekly and monthly playlists. Of course, “interesting” is subjective and will mean the playlists are seasoned with some of my personal favourites as well as some less-known surprises I have found out there.

This way you can focus on the chocolate chips in the cookie. I will listen to Pop, Rock, Heavy Metal, Singer-Songwriter and some Americana/Country. Please be warned, there may be an unrepresentative number of great tracks coming from Sweden. I may be slightly biased, but trust me, as I told you before, I have a great taste in music. If you’re a Hip-Hopper, Jazz enthusiast, Beethoven lover, or into Trash Metal, I am afraid you’ll have no use of me at all. Sorry about that! Have a good life, I wish you the best of luck.
