2 Shaligram stones, 60 million years old, obtained from the Kali Gandaki river of Nepal, have been decided to make the idol of Lord Shri Ram as a child and the idol of maa Sita in the Shri Ram temple being constructed in Ayodhya.
The only river that meets Shaligram is Kali Gandaki, this river emerges from the Damodar Kund and joins the Ganges river. This rock block taken from the banks of Kaligand river is one of 26 tonnes and the other of 14 tonnes.
Before being taken out, Kshama Puja was performed in the river Kali Gandaki and taken away with special worship. Shila was performed Rudrabhishek on Thursday 26-01-2023 at Galeshwar Mahadev Temple.

#शालिग्राम मिलने वाली एक मात्र नदी काली गण्डकी है ,यह नदी दामोदर कुण्ड से निकलकर गंगा नदी में मिलती है। #कालीगण्ड नदी के किनारे से लिया गया यह शिला खंड एक 26 टन का और दूसरा 14 टन का है ।
निकालने से पहले #काली_गंड़की नदी में क्षमा पूजा की गई और विशेष पूजा के
ऋतिक रोशन बनके आया बच्चा और साथ में मंगल ग्रह से जादू भी आया और अपने मां को सताने लगा।।
