Bryan Beller has maintained a multi-faceted career as a bassist, composer, solo artist and clinician for over 25 years, earning his reputation as a uniquely talented yet supremely tasteful team player for instrumentally-minded artists.

He’s been Joe Satriani’s touring bassist since 2013, and also tracked Satriani’s complete 2022 album The Elephants Of Mars.

He was Steve Vai’s choice for the 2009 live CD/DVD Where The Wild Things Are, and he also toured and recorded in the “band” Dethklok, a tongue-in-cheek extreme metal band borne of the hit Cartoon Network “Adult Swim” show Metalocalypse. He’s been a musical partner of freak/genius guitarist Mike Keneally for over 20 years and 10 albums.

On his own Bryan’s 2019 solo release – the progressive concept double album Scenes From The Flood featuring Joe Satriani, John Petrucci, Guthrie Govan, Mike Keneally, and many more – was hailed by multiple outlets as an instant classic.


In the power super-trio The Aristocrats (with uber-players Guthrie Govan on guitar and Marco Minnemann on drums) he’s a part of one of the hottest acts in rock/fusion today; their 2019 release You Know What…? debuted at #2 on the Billboard Jazz Chart.

Rich's most successful song to date, has been his cover of "Snow Miser vs. Heat Miser" from his first album, ‘Santa’s Rockin’ Band,’ which was released soon after his first university graduation in the days before Spotify and online music sales and streaming. Once iTunes hit, and later Spotify, “Snow Miser vs. Heat Miser” began to really resonate with people and rise in popularity. It has since been downloaded over 18,000 times in the last ten years and streamed approximately 900,000 times in the past three. The song became the cornerstone of his 2020 ‘Santa’s Rockin’ Band’ album reboot, which also included a newly penned original, “It’s Christmas Time (All Over the World),” which went on to attain over 250,000 streams on Spotify alone in the last two months of 2020. Ray Soul — Bass | Processing Grief Through Music and Other Languages

Ray Soul has been a professional jazz bassist and producer immersed in the New York jazz scene for over a decade. While studying with Reggie Workman as an undergraduate at The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music, he was driven by a recurring quest to find his voice and develop his own concept of jazz, which he has termed 'Interactive jazz: Jazz as a New Visual Art.' He extended this concept while pursuing his Master’s degree in Music Technology at New York University. In 2015 he premiered his new show entitled Abstract Expressionism in Jazz, an hour-long jazz performance he developed over the past two years to re-identify jazz as a form of Abstract Expressionism. As both a leader and composer, Soul has released four jazz albums since 2007 and has participated in numerous tours and international jazz festivals in China, Japan, and Korea. Ray has also worked at Jazz at Lincoln Center and at the Museum of Modern Art. He is currently working as an assistant director for the Global Initiative at Berklee College of Music and pursuing his Doctor of Education degree in Higher Education Administration at Northeastern University.

He is a composer and guitarist with research interests in theory and composition, artificial intelligence, interactive music systems, and music cognition. V.J. is the author of several books published by Oxford University Press including Max/MSP/Jitter for Music, Foundations of Music Technology, and co-author of Interactive Composition and Environmental Sound Artists.
