This page is to highlight the state of the Irish rental market. Where there is so much profiteering on vulnerable people who are desperate to find accommodation in a severe rental drought. Sadly so many victims of extortionate rental prices feel too vulnerable to call out properties that are not fit for purpose so they keep quiet and rent damp, cold, unclean, unsuitable houses in the hope that something better is on the horizon. Our government is all promise on this agenda but has yet failed to regulate or bring about any meaningful change. This is a page for real people living the reality of this crisis. Please feel free to share your experience, photos and cost without naming individuals. It is more powerful to paint the national gravity of this scene than to target individuals.
