Teso Tiktokers led by Teso gal reached out to Papa Atude.
Following a documentary which was done about papa Atude by TESO MEDIA GROUP, a group of concerned Teso content creators both within and abroad joined hands to create this impactful visit.

Its alleged that the man being beaten made a financial loss of 130.000 ugx and his boss and friends beat him up and this happened in soroti city.
The boss by names of Izzo, a local bussiness man dealing in clothes decided to take law into his hands and inflicted physical and mental pain to his worker.
We are following up to see if any action was taken against him!

We caught up with MARTHA AJAU a lady who is behind most of the inspirational gospel songs in our land.
Originating from Ngora, Martha says her deep rooted faith in Jesus christ has helped her in her marriage, raising her four girls and also in her music career.
" My husband and God are inseparable, I serve my husband and lean on him for family support while servving God at his level too, I am happily married with children and both are girls" - Martha Ajau.

Our team caught up with Teso's melodious musician Billy Basil commonly known as lover man by ladies.
Bill Basil was found chilling with his buddies in his Mukongoro town, Kumi district. He is an easy to go man with a soft heart. He smiles a lot and talks with an open heart.
When asked about his love life, Billy laughed it off but said he has someone, so ladies dont press that button, the system is busy
"I dont take weed or alcohol thats what keeps me stable mentaly for the music bussiness" -
Billy Basil came to the limelight with his famous and widely spread melody tatoo song which he says is dedicated to his fans.

Blind but talented legendary singer Okwakol lazarus commonly known as Lazaro cries to the speaker of parliament to help him acquire a guitar and a keyboard so he can start having live perfomances so he can sustain himself and continue educating and sensitizing the public
Okwakol who hails from Kumi district says he played a key part in this government but his legacy is abused.
" Some times I was paid with just posho and beans especially when I perfomed for soldiers during the insurgency"
Lazarus who used a parable of a poor man and a rich man in the bible to send a message a heart felt message to the public and leaders says;

Meet ESakan, one of the members of papa Atude group who is a specialist in using the traditional instrument or flute known as abilo.
Abilo or alumaru is an instrument necessary for the full akogo band to be complete.
People who know how to play this instrument are very countable, we documented this for future records.

Today we are privileged to bring to your screen papa Atude the original composer of Emaali song, which was later recorded by Afrigo band's Racheal magoola without the consent of the original owner, according to him.
" My song emaali was re-done and my consent was not asked for and have not received any compensation for it"- Atude.
" I began playing the instruments back in 1962 and I was used by the obote government to commision hospitals, schools, and government programmes, by then we were not using music as a bussiness but as a way of life".
Atude who now struggles to walk says he was taught to play the famous akogo instrument by his grandfather.
Atude is known by everyone in his community as a legend and occasionally called to entertain at local events like marriages.
Not forgetting that he calls local brew known as ajon the wisdom drink and he enjoys it on a daily basis!.
Currently Atude's house has roofing issues and leaks during rains, and Atude is worried if the rains continue.
