Project Description:
Nightmare in Suburbia is an upcoming horror film delving into the dark secrets of a seemingly ordinary suburban town. We are preparing a one-minute teaser to highlight the film’s suspenseful and atmospheric tone. We are seeking talented actors for two lead roles.

Roles Available:

Lead Male Actor
Age Range: Late 20s to early 40s

Lead Female Actor
Age Range: Late 20s to early 40s

Requirements:
Experience: Previous experience in horror or thriller genres is a plus but not required.
Skills: Must be able to effectively portray fear, confusion, and horror through physical and emotional acting, as these are non-dialogue scenes.
Availability: Must be available for filming in Royal Oak, MI in mid-October 2024.
Location: Must be local or willing to travel to Royal Oak, MI.

Calling All Horror Enthusiasts!

Hey neighbors and horror film fans! I'm currently working on a spine-chilling vampire short film titled "Nightmare in Suburbia," and I need YOUR help finding the perfect location.

**Film Description:**
Get ready for a "Nightmare in Suburbia"! In a quiet suburb, Sarah and Tony's new home unveils a sinister secret – an ominous park across the street. As the moon casts an eerie glow, Sarah becomes the unwilling witness to a bone-chilling incident, drawing her into a deadly game with a sinister vampire prowling the night. The sheriff takes drastic measures to protect the town, igniting a heart-stopping battle between darkness and the desperate fight for survival.

**Location Needed:**
We're on the hunt for the perfect location, a single-story house in a suburban neighborhood, ideally within 30 minutes of Royal Oak, Michigan. If it's across from a park, that's a huge bonus!

**Usage Details:**
I'll need to use the house from 6 pm until 11 pm for a two-week period in May. It's a small crew, and we promise to treat your space with utmost respect.

Update on The Door filming. We still have one scene left to film and then some pick up shots, if necessary. It's been a rough time for me. We started this production back in October 2022. It was that month that I lost my only brother (on my birthday too). My dad went into hospice about four days prior to my brother passing away.

At the end of that month, we secured our location for filming in Redford Township. Thanks, Amanda. I can't stress how perfect this house was for our short horror film.

We filmed throughout November and into December.

On December 8, 2022, my dad passed away. We shot a scene the very next day, then took a break for the holidays.

On December 31, 2022, I lost my day job and am now venturing into the world of filming commercials for local businesses (but it's a slow start up process).

On January 9, 2023, my mom was admitted to hospice but we filmed throughout January and into February.

Well, my mom is on active status this week, which means she may not survive the week. She is pretty much comatose and since she's in hospice here at home, that means all they can do is make her comfortable. My mom is passing away two months after my dad.

I write horror stories about people living in their version of Hell, while I'm living it in person.

No filming this week since I'm on "Death Watch". We will resume filming in a week or two.
