✅ Create some fun Reels or open up a bit more about you as a HUMAN in your stories.
✅ And challenge yourself to share content outside your comfort zone.
You will know what kinds of content you can infuse into your 2025 marketing strategy that’ll get the engagement you’re looking for because of the work you’ll do in December.

HOW TO MAKE THIS OFFER COME TO LIFE ⬇️
I think the questionnaire will make or break this offer for you so here’s what I’d suggest you ask:
1️⃣ What are your current goals?
2️⃣ Who are 3 accounts that inspire you that are in your field?
3️⃣ What are 5 FAQs clients or customers ask you often?
4️⃣ What 5 myths get you FIRED up in your field?
5️⃣ Link any blog posts, IG posts, emails that you think really showcase your expertise that I can pull from.
This is just a start!
But this works even better and will be must easier for you if it’s with current or past clients or people you know well.
I’d start it low between $27-$37, but again that’s just me!
I think it’s a great way to get people who want to start Threads feel more comfortable AND it’s an amazing “gateway offer” to get potentially new people in your door!

WHAT TO DO INSTEAD ⬇️
Apologies for the aggression so early this morning but I woke up and I’m, you guessed it, FERAL AGAIN 🔥
But I know you’ve gotten them: “Hey girl! I LOVE your vibe! How long have you been in business?”
😐 What? Who are you? Have we ever chatted before? How do you know my *ViBe* already?
Picture that situation in real life. Would you EVER walk up to someone & say this to them without at least introducing yourself first? Would it even be the *second* thing you say?
There is etiquette now and you need to be following the rules. So to engage with someone you’d love to work with or you think would be interested in your product or service, don’t hit them with it IMMEDIATELY.
Play the long game.
“But Emily, HOW do I do that without being gross?”
Here’s what I teach my clients…
1️⃣ Comment on their posts. More than just “love it!”. Make it engaging, make it something they will want to respond back to! And bonus points if you USE THEIR NAME 👊
2️⃣ Respond to their stories. BEST way to get someone’s attention? Hop in their DMs by responding to their stories! Start with one of the “quick reactions”, then move up to responding regularly, create that connection, & let things happen naturally.
3️⃣ Turn on their post notifications. When you find an IDEAL client or customer, go to their profile tap the bell 🔔 at the top of their page and toggle notifications on as much of their content as you want. THEN that way you’re notified every time they share content and YOU can be the first person cheering them on!
And finally, my “not so sexy” tip….
Let them come to you 🤷♀️
Keep sharing, keep providing tips, and keep responding, + keep reminding them you’re there by interacting with them. Make a list of your leads & make sure you consistently interact with them daily.
Does this way take time? Yes.
Does it require effort? Yes.
Does it work? Absolutely.

This is not only a lesson to learn as a person, but also as a business owner marketing on social media.
If you’re always safe, always worried about EVERYONE accepting your content, concerned about people seeing your content that will never buy from you…
You’re missing the point of this entirely and will be really frustrated with your conversion here.
When you talk to everyone and make sure everyone will like everything you have to say, that keeps you SAFE but you miss out on connecting to the people YOU actually want to work with or connect to.
UNIQUE CONTENT IDEAS:
➡️ Bust a myth - I loveee this idea for business owners because it shows you don’t stand for the BS in your industry.
➡️ Unpopular Opinions - Sharing THE OPPOSITE of what everyone is saying in your field will make you stand out.
➡️ Your personal stances - YOU do not have to share anything you don’t want to, but sharing your opinions is a great way to connect with like-minded people.
I hope this helps give you the courage to create for YOUR people and YOUR people only.
Unfollows, rude DMs, and negative comments don’t mean you did anything wrong.
It simply means you’re even closer to finding the people you’re meant to serve 🫶

HOW TO FIND YOUR “LOW LIFTS” ⤵️
Describing low lift vs. high lift marketing strategies reminds me SO much of my Find Your Minimum concept I created in 2020 to keep my business going while doing the least (instead of the most).
I think where a lot of business owners get stuck is trying to do
💥EVERYTHING
🚀 FULL THROTTLE
🚨24/7
And then they get burned out.
They stop marketing here for weeks.
And it’s that much harder to get back on the saddle.
AND IT MAKES SENSE ✅
***Why would you want to get back on a horse that makes it IMPOSSIBLE for you to stay on?***
Finding the “low lifts” for yourself will save you during the holidays AND in busy seasons of life.
The thing is, no one can tell you what your low lifts are.
Only YOU can figure them out.
Maybe talking to camera on stories IS the easier lift for you.
Maybe creating Reels IS easier than doing carousels or static posts.
Maybe staying consistent with stories IS easier than posting to the grid (which is my favorite way to find my own minimum since it’s easy for me to do AND yields the best results sales-wise!)

Being SPECIFIC is why those “POV” Reels have become and continued to be content that performs well.
But they only do their job IF you are SPECIFIC.
EXAMPLE:
Instead of saying “POV: you just found a health and fitness account that will help you get more protein in your diet”
(YAWN FEST 🥱 and CAN’T CONNECT)
You could say “POV: you finally found a health and fitness account that will help you hit __ g of protein a day without telling you to eat more chicken or suggest chalky protein power you have to choke down. Hi it’s me 👋 I’m the account.”
SEE???
Or another one:
Instead of saying “You’re a business owner struggling to get all your business tasks done and can’t seem to get ahead and then you found my account.”
(Again, not ENOUGH)
You could say “You’re an overwhelmed business owner who has already tried Asana solo, procrastinates whenever there’s an invoice to pay or email to check, and cannot for the LIFE of you figure out how to edit your website in a timely manner and then you find me, the virtual assistant of your dreams 💅 who will make all those problems disappear”
SPECIFIC.
It will hit EVERY time.
And the more you do it, the more you will see what resonates and what doesn’t.
The Reel that performed so well for me was an adaptation of one I did last year 🤯 so once you start seeing patterns, take note, and double down.

So then you start picking apart your content.
You begin to overthink every single thing you share, afraid you’ll get even LOWER engagement.
So then your frustration level overshadows the zest you once had for marketing on IG and you peace out ✌️

And whenever I ask the question “but have you been engaging with other accounts?”, their response is either puzzled OR “eh kinda, but not as much as I should.”
I don’t like blanket statements, BUT engaging with other accounts on this app MUST be a part of your strategy if you want to grow 🤷♀️
What does this look like?
Here’s a start:
➡️ Find local hashtags.
(Even if you’re a virtual business! PLEASE try this!)
Almost every town and city as a hashtag and although people pay me to find them, it’s pretty simple! Start with #________(your city/town name),look at the posts that use that hashtag and start your search for all the local hashtags you can find! Small town? Go with the nearest city!
➡️ Once you find them, look at the accounts that your ideal client/customer would be frequenting & leave comments, respond to stories, and if there’s an event or product or sale that would be helpful for your audience, share the post to your story and tag them!
➡️ Don’t forget about responding to comments & DMs from other accounts
Go back & regularly make sure all the comments have been responded to on your posts and Reels.
