Addison Smith states, "However, there's an unfortunate update, a disturbing update to this case. Some bad actors in the Republican Party there who are evidently sabotaging DeVore's lawsuits effectively. State Representative Dan Caulkins decided to file a suit of his own, which seemed fine at first. The more pressure, the merrier. But it's starting to appear that Caulkins is not in this for the people of Illinois or protecting the Constitution, but rather for his own personal gain, according to inside sources that I have directly spoken with and according to court filings from people who signed on to Caulkins lawsuit, they got duped out of money from him. Caulkins allegedly encouraged each of the 900 plaintiffs in his suit to donate $200 to his legal defense fund. He called it. But it turns out he apparently submitted the money that he collected from that to his campaign account."

The plaintiffs in the Macon County case want to remain separate for reasons which could negatively impact the gun rights of all Illinois citizens!
