We pulled the curtain back on the infamous “Chat” and our holiday BBA love while bringing some High-Test Goodies to the episode. We discuss the declining Belgian beer industry, despite Alan’s love for the styles, & we debate if the beer bottle will make a comeback from the Can Craze.
FEATURED BEER: “Virgil - 2024” BBA Stout (11.5% ABV): from : Virgil was aged for several months in a blend of Boone County, MGP, and Basil Hayden bourbon barrels. It has a jet-black color with a tan head and a flavor profile that includes notes of plum, raisin, molasses, cacao, and licorice. The taste finishes with a roasty full palate and a warming alcohol sensation with a touch of sweet oaky bourbon.
