With so many cruise options available, it wasn’t easy to choose and we eventually decided on Hermes Cruise — besides being highly recommended by the staff in our Hanoi accommodation, we were attracted by the “newly built” cruise (built last year)!
Activities we had on board:
Sunset party, fresh Vietnamese spring roll making, squid fishing and Tai Chi session
Overall, service was pretty good!

Wings Of Time, award-winning night show✨
Little KY was so fascinated by the multi-sensory night show – laser, fire and water effects, much more than the storyline for sure! I thought she may not appreciate but I’m wrong – her only complaint was “too short”, only 20 minutes!
That night, the sky was clear, she began counting 🌟🌟🌟 while waiting for the show to start.
Based on the excitement from the crowd, the best part of the show had to be the firework displays. Whereas for me, the best part was watching Little KY completely enthralled and “WOW-ing” non-stop during the fireworks. It was the first time she watched fireworks in person!
We went on a Monday (non-PH), 7.40pm show, and was shocked to see such a crowd, which were mostly tourists. We bought the premium tickets ($20.70*) for better views and also for the individual back-rested seats. The standard tickets ($16.20*) are wooden bench seatings.
