The Placer County Sheriff’s Office will have an increased presence at Colfax High School today following a vague second hand report of a threat. The report was made using the “STOPit” app, which allows students, parents, teachers and others to anonymously report anything concerning to school officials. Our deputies worked through the night to ensure there’s no active threat.

The safety of our kids is always a top priority and all reported concerns will be taken seriously.
