SHINING TOGETHER, SHINING BRIGHTER!

The Holy Cross of Sulop, Incorporated celebrated its first ever, CORE 2024: The Clubs and Organizations Culminating Activity, marking another fruitful activity to the students bearing the theme: Shine Together, Shine Brighter: The Ultimate Clubs and Organizations Culminating Experience.

As HCSI held its first ever, Club and Organization Culminating Activity, its undeniable that the event was filled with fun and thrilling activities. The first part of the event was the Academic Competitions such as Quiz Bee, Spelling Bee, Sudoku, Essay Writing, and Poster Making in which showcases the magnificent skills and intelligence of the students of different clubs and organizations.

Moreover, Larong Pinoy was also part of the event, in which happiness and jubilation can be seen in the faces of the students as they competitively bear their clubs and organizations to reach the victory. The activity was filled with laughters and a blazing competition as different clubs and organizations embodies creative and active participation.

Along with this, the highlight of the event was the search for the first ever MR. & MS. ICON OF THE CLUB AND ORGANIZATION 2024. During the said event, different candidates of the different Clubs and Organizations presented their selves with creativeness, elegance, beauty, and confidence. Significantly, the hailed Ms. Icon of the Club and Organization 2024 is Ms. Trishlenn Perjes representing the MathSci Club and for the Mr. Icon of the Club and Organization 2024, Mr. Ivan Dave Sinoy from Association of Young Historian was hailed as winners.

The event was filled thrilling experiences as it marks the first ever Club and Organization Culminating Activity. The activity was a moment of reminder that if there is camaraderie and teamwork then together everyone will shine brighter.

REED Day contains various events that includes poster making, essay writing, and saint look-alike, the theme highlights the goals of coming together and the significance of taking into account everyone's unique goals as well as the group's combined efforts, collaboration, and even shared purpose in order "to get there."

Moreover, the event demonstrates the students' diverse range of skills, including their ability to be innovative, resourceful, creative, and attentive and most especially to bring someone in faith โ€œto get thereโ€ to Christ.

In celebration of the 66th Araw ng Sulop in Davao del Sur, The Nitely Presentation of Holy Cross of Sulop Inc. and St. John Marie Vianney Academy, Inc. captivated audiences with a culturally anchored performance infused with a Magical Disney theme. The fusion of local traditions and the enchantment of Disney created a mesmerizing spectacle that delighted attendees. HCS Responders: Secures Second Spot in Rescuelympics with Grit and Grace

In a thrilling display of skill and determination, Holy Cross of Sulop Inc secured the second spot in the Municipality of Sulop's 2nd Inter School Rescuelympics competition held on April 18, 2024.

The Rescuelympic includes the basic life support and fire fighting challenge for the 66th araw ng Sulop along with the Municipal Disaster Risk and Reduction Management Council (MDRRMC Sulop) and Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP Sulop). Holy Cross of Sulop Inc participated this kind of event with fifteen determined participants and secures the second spot in the entire Rescuelympic activity, aside from that HCS recognized and received the award for โ€œBest in hose throwingโ€. Indeed! a Good job, to the HCS Responders.

Moreover, Despite the pressure and strain of the game, the team was still able to give it their all and overcome the hurdles set before them. As they say, "Your greatest opponent is yourself."

On this night April 16 2024 the Holy Cross of Sulop Inc conducted it's junior and senior's promenade with the the themed of "masquerade", in which a long history, dating back to ancient societies and the celebration of balls and carnivals, they were worn as a means of self-expression and identity concealment and it represents freedom, anonymity, and the capacity to assume multiple identities.

As we move forward, let's keep the promenade's spirit and remember the sense of joy and bonds we created. May the fulfillment we had that evening are heard in our hearts for years to come, acting as an encouragement in the midst of negative situations.

To all who joined this night, your presence was greatly appreciated, and the memories we created together will be cherished and remembered. The journey and dedication exceeded any certificate that could be awarded to all because each of us shines individually.

Though everyone on the night is a genuine shining star deserving of recognition, this selected senior and junior light up the room and their compassion reaches everyone in their their area. Let us get to know the people who define grace, charisma, and sincerity. our tonight's mr/ms darling ( Eugune Como and Keziah Sasuman), mr/ms head turner (John Vernie Basoc, Yesha Emblasado) mr. and miss prominent, (Nonito Gilbuena and Aliyah Millar) and mr/ms king of the night(Roland Jr Abregana and Julianna Aaliyah Macias), moreover this event wouldn't be possible without all the outstanding mentors, (Sir. John Mark Sarno and Ms. Jan Catherine Cole) won the best formal attire among the teachers. Holy Cross of Sulop Stars Shine in DADITAMA 2024 Badminton Tournament: Montero and Remolleno Make School Proud

The Davao-Digos-Tagum-Mati (DADITAMA) 2024 Badminton Tournament was a stage for outstanding performances and sportsmanship, with players from the Diocese of Digos making their mark in the Badminton Girls Singles A and B category. Represented by Montero Margie and Kazle Lyka Remolleno from Holy Cross of Sulop, Inc. showcased their skills and passion for the sport.

In a series of intense matches, Montero faced a tough challenge in her opening game against Davao, but she demonstrated resilience and determination by bouncing back to secure a commanding 2-0 victory against Tagum in subsequent matches. And she secures the title being the 1st Runner up in the tournament. Meanwhile, Remolleno showcased her talent and competitive spirit by clinching the 2nd runner-up title in the said tournament, highlighting her skill and tenacity on the court.

Moreover, the HCS community is brimming with pride at the outstanding accomplishments of Montero and Remolleno, as well as the guidance and support provided by coaches Narca and Tuloy. Their dedication, hard work, and sportsmanship have not only brought honor to their school but have also inspired a new generation of aspiring athletes to reach for their dreams.

The Holy Cross of Sulop, Inc. culminated the Math and Science ( MathSci) event with a joyful hearts, exploring the realms of knowledge and creativity on April 05, 2024, bearing the theme EMPOWERING AND SHAPING THE WORLD; THINK LIKE A MATHEMATICIAN, ACT LIKE A SCIENTIST, that crusades new doors to Math and Science.

The event kicked off with the opening of the event as the guiding lines for the program. It features multiple academic events such as Quiz-bee; Rubics Cube; Poster Making; Chess; Soduko; and Scidamath, which hastes the participants intellegence and mastery of knowledge in the realms of Math and Science. In such ways, the Academic events promotes a new set of exploration and integrity to the participants, marking true potential of their intelligence.

Similarly, the Math and Science event coordinator, Mrs. Richelle Brigole, organized a trivia game for the students. This game involved asking questions related to scientific methods, equations, theories, and numbers. Mrs. Brigole successfully entertained everyone present at the event, making it a joyful exploration of Mathematics and Science. The students were asked various questions that tested their knowledge and understanding of the fascinating aspects of Mathematics and Science.

In the Afternoon, was the highlight of the MathSci event, the runway battle of Recyclable Material Costumes. In line with this, the Convocation of Grade 8 students were culminated, showcasing different levels of talent in the field of dance and singing,where in they illuminated the best of 90โ€™s and 20โ€™s. The Grade 8 students, was also an entertainment in everyone's eye in the venue, adding a new and vibrant significant motion of the event.

Moreover, the runway of Recyclable Material Costume showcases the creativeness, innovative, and dazzling gleam of the participantโ€™s, and walking it with a personality of scientist and mathematician. In every step they take in the runway, they embody a significance role in hearts and minds of the wizards, promoting the importance of preservation in this world. Further, the hailed champion for the Recyclable Material Costume was from Grade 11 - St. Francisco, Angelica Dominguez where she truly graced the runway with poise and daze of inigmatic personality in the runway.

Lastly, an applaud to our dynamic MathSci Coordinators, Mdm. Brigole; Mdm. Recopelacion; Ms. Toluy; and Sir Aballe for giving their extra effort and time making the event a meaningful one. The event ended with a liveful marking of exploration, innovation, and significance of Math and Science in the institution. As we take new steps in the future, may we all remember the beauty of Math and Science, and how it gives the doors and keys to the human race.
