I have been on a long hiatus to recuperate after been in and out of the hospital last month. I’m doing fine now Alhamdulillah and will be back to posting shortly peace. Miss you all here

Eating breakfast makes me feel ready to start my day and take on the world. This Nigerian toast sandwich remains one of my favorite for a quick breakfast.

Eggs, fruits, oats, dates, beans and yogurt are some of the best options for suhoor because of the nutrients in them. They also keep you full for a long time which is why I try to incorporate them into my suhoor meals and they work well for me.

I’m sharing my food calendar for the first week of Ramadan; hopefully this will help anyone who struggles with what to eat/cook. You can make this calendar yours by substituting and moving things around.

For Suhoor I’ve selected easy and quick meals that are very filling. For iftar, majority of the food items and ingredients can be prepared ahead to reduce actual cooking time.
