A new cookie place opened up in Erie! They will also be opening one in Westminster. It's called Chip and it apparently also originated from Utah just like Crumbl.

Chip sells big warm cookies similar to crumbl but they have a topping bar so for an extra $1 you can put 3 toppings of your choice on a base cookie. If you don't know what to put on top there is a sheet with the 'fan favorites', one being called "better than s€x". There is a flavor that rotates weekly, and this week is the muddy buddy. They do have boxes, but I think if your cookie doesn't have toppings they put it in the plastic sleeve.

Got chocolate chip cookie from both Chip and Crumbl. I think Crumbl looks a little more appealing and tastes slightly better, but Chip is not as sweet, probably in anticipation of toppings/Icecream. Crumbl seemed to have a bit more chocolate chips and may have been baked a little longer since it was a little darker and a little crisper.

Chip was 4.60 and Crumbl was 4.68. The tip prompt at check out at Chip is the traditional %/custom vs the $2/3/4/custom at Crumbl. They are similar in diameter, with crumbl's being slightly taller... 1 serving for Crumbl is actually a quarter of the cookie so I expect it's the same for Chip.

So both cookies were fairly similar to me, and I could go either way. Which ever is closest at the time of my cookie craving! Though if I do want a fancy and more customized experience I would go to Chip.

Longmont is fortunate to have both a Costco and a Sam's Club. Today we compare a slice of pepperoni pizza, hotdog, and a churro. The Costco things are on the left, and Sam's on the right.

Pizza slice $1.99 at Costco, $1.98 at Sam's. Costco has cheese or pepperoni and Sam's has cheese, pepperoni, deluxe, and four meats.
Hotdog combo $1.50 at Costco, $1.38 at Sam's
Churro $1.49 at Costco, $1.00 at Sam's

D: Pizza - both pretty standard pepperoni pizza, big slices. Costco's has more dough, but I think like Sam's a little more maybe due the sauces being a little different. Pretty similar though.
Hotdog- Sam's. The texture/casing of the Costco is a little tougher gives it a nice texture, but the Sam's has the better flavour.
Churro- Sam's tasted a little bit better. Once you're past the initial sugar of the Costco it doesn't have much flavor whereas Sam's continues.

M: Costco for all, the pizza has more pepperoni coverage. The hotdog at Sam's tastes more "hot doggy" classic flavor, and the Costco has a smoky flavor and the texture is better. Costco churro has better dough to sugar ratio.

E: Pizza- they both taste pretty similar, I liked Costco slightly more due to the crust and the appearance.
Hotdog- I like Sam's hotdog better, there is a difference in the taste of the hotdog if you eat it by itself but if you chew it with the bun you can't really taste too much of a difference. The Costco bun has sesame seeds.
Churro- the Costco one is more Cinnamon-y. I think one of the twists in it is cinnamon because you can see it is brown.
