Nabalot ng frost o “andap” ang mga pananim sa isang lugar sa Atok, Benguet kaninang umaga, Dec. 28, dahil sa sobrang lamig na temperatura.

Inaasahang lalo pang lalamig ang panahon sa mga bulubundukin at matataas na lugar sa Northern Luzon pagsapit ng Enero at Pebrero ng susunod na taon, na itinuturing na peak months ng Amihan.

Fur parents and their pets joined members of environmental group EcoWaste Coalition and animal rights advocate Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) in a parade around a mall in Quezon City on Sunday, December 28.

Music played in a wedding hall in western Japan as Yurina Noguchi, wearing a white gown and tiara, dabbed away her tears, taking in the words of her husband-to-be: an AI-generated persona gazing out from a smartphone screen named “Klaus.”

"My relationship with AI is not a 'convenient relationship that requires no patience'," Noguchi said. "I chose Klaus, not as a partner that would help me escape reality, but as someone to support me as I live my life properly."
