Our heartfelt appreciation to the Board of Directors for bringing back a North End tradition begun many years ago by Sam Perniac. The turnout at The North End Reunion was fantastic, gathering new and old residents and even visitors. Everyone looked like they had fun! 🎉

Our thanks to the volunteers who keep and have kept The Breezes going for over 50 years. The people who set up, took down, ran around, and flipped burgers— you made it a success!

Congratulations to the nominees for the Awards. It's like picking a favourite child, but our recipients this year were Chris Pearson, Ed Stewart Legacy Award, Curtis Biehler, The Community Builder Award, and Beatrice Jeffrey, Heritage Award. If you see them or know them, please pass on your best wishes! 🏆

Thanks to Macassa Bay Yacht Club for the perfect venue, the sponsors who made it possible, and our Ward 2 Councillor, Cameron Kroetsch, for your kind words and introductions.

June was all about honouring our seniors, and this year's Senior Diners Club event at Compass Community Health Centre was unforgettable! ❤️ From Ruth Kaulback’s heartfelt speech to a delicious BBQ 🍔 and Paula French’s music 🎶, the day was filled with joy and community spirit. Even the kids from Bennetto School joined in the dancing!
