This decision was stressful and uncomfortable for both of us. 😕

But we did it so we can say we are now an LLC!! 🥳 While we made the decision in April, it did not go as we planned. 😤 On top of that we were working with a deadline. 🥲

The sad part is we didn't even celebrate this milestone. 😅 But this is our moment to congratulate ourselves so here's to us and the success of our future selves! 🍻

May our booties always be fat and our content never wack. 🙏🏾 Amen.

You ever look at your best friend and just wanna 🤜🏾💥

Now I know y'all didn't click more so you could be messy. 😒 Cause our friendship is flawless. 💎 Shame on you.

But our business selves 💼 are verrryyyy different 😅 and we didn't fully learn that until this past year. There were a lot of stern words exchanged with us being pretty much complete opposites on some aspects. 😕

These are the things we've learned that helped us keep our podcast 🎙️ and friendship 🫱🏾‍🫲🏾 intact:

💼Make decisions TOGETHER; even if it's a good idea, don't make a decision alone
💼Ask for support or clarification; don't make assumptions
💼Understand different approaches are a STRENGTH and use that to your advantage
💼Accept that you don't (and won't) always agree and that's okay

Best friends, cosmic twins, co-host, roommates... we just keep proving that our friendship is unbreakable. 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾 Even if there's a little verbal wrastling ever once and while. 🤼🏾‍♀️

We had to keep trying things over and over again. 😕

As many of you know, we stated off as pandemy podcast. 🎙️ And so did everyone and their muva. 😅

We started out recording at house, then literally moved the pod IN HOUSE lol. 🏠 Then moved to . 🏙️

And bayyyybeeeee we really went from recording for the free to paying. 🥲 Even though a season costs almost a stack 💵 this is what coming out of pocket did for us:

💰Structured our seasons AND built in breaks (for us and our wallets)
💰Made interviews possible because we're no longer a home studio
💰Forced us to take things seriously... because who has money to waste?

So the moral of the story is to invest in yourself. When you put real resources behind something... you're more likely to give it your all. 💖

Laughing but also suuuuuuper upset.

Tall twin here. 🙋🏾‍♀️ Let's chat for a minute.

Lately my brain 🧠 has not been doing the remembering. And I recently had to replace my phone which had a very good "I can't remember 💩" system in place.

Life feels like CHOAS and I feel like I'm always forgetting something which heightens my anxiety to ungodly levels. 🥲 So I'll tell you what affirmations I use when I'm spiraling. 😵‍💫

💛I release the fear that forgetfulness will destroy my relationships or livelihood.
🧡I am worthy of grace when my forgetfulness impacts someone negatively.
💙I am not perfect and that's okay.
❤️I am confident in my ability to bounce back in the face of my shortcomings.

💔 We are emotional depleted.

And it's okay to not be okay. We all have struggles, and it's a part of life. We appreciate🙏🏾all good vibes and prayers you send our way. And of course thanks to our tribe that has been supporting us 💗 during this 💩 month.
