All right, friends, this isn’t the easiest news but I think it’s time…

For the past two-ish years, this has been my passion project! I got to talk to amazing artists, share invaluable insights, and help build our community. I am so grateful to have had so much support. That being said, it’s time for another chapter!

Who knows, maybe I’ll be in a place a few years down the line where I can restart this show but as for right now I’m going to need to step back.

As I said, thank you for listening and supporting me throughout the years. This has been such an amazing journey for me. If you were featured on this show, you have my all of my gratitude. Thank you for sharing your wisdom!

I’m so excited to share this episode!! Today I have Pablo Siqueiros on the podcast.

We talk all about what vocal “rules” mean, how we can learn through opera, and why it’s important to develop an artist statement.

I recently took a workshop by Pablo through OOPS MN where he lead a group of us to find our artist statements. It was such a cathartic experience and super informative. I can’t recommend a workshop like this enough! I’m hoping it will be available to the public at some point, so keep your eyes peeled!!

😢😢

I am so sorry, friends! I sat down to start editing today’s episode and my guest’s sound had become completely distorted 😭 This has never happened before and I checked all my other recordings to make sure they were all ok (they are!).

Thankfully, this guest has been gracious enough to re-record with me! Not gonna lie, I let this derail me for a sec. I felt so bad and overwhelmed when I discovered the recording was ruined. I’m not great with technology and all my guests are so generous with giving me their time, this quickly had me hyperventilating. But, this is an important reminder of allowing ourselves patience and room to mess up.
