With the addition of new red buff in the game, Granger is probably the one who benefits from it the most. The high damage output compensates for his low attack speed. Its been a while since the attack speed marksman meta dominate the late game, but with this patch Granger is undoubtedly one of the best, if not the best marksman.

Guide:
Item:
*Starting Item: [Hunter's Knife] - With this item combined with the retribution spell you can easily kill the red buff.
*Item Progression:
1. [Magic Shoes] - Cooldown Reduction
2. [Raptor Machete] - Increase Damage
3. [Blade of Despair] - High Damage Burst
4. [Endless Battle] - Additional Damage Burst
5. [Malefic Roar] - Huge Physical PEN %
Or [Bloodlust Axe] - Spell Vamp / Survivability
6. [Berserker's Fury] - Additional Damage
Or [Athena's Shield] - For Survivability
Or [Immortality] - For Survivability

Battle Spell:
Purify - If you see an enemy hero that can easily lock down and kill you should equip this battle spell
Retribution: For easier jungling, retribution is the best spell to equip
Flicker: With additional escape or chasing mechanics flicker is your spell to equip. But Granger has a good mobility with his second skill [Rondo] you should equip flicker only if necessary.
