After the attack on our Nation's capitol I thought it would be important to dig into why a small but loud percentage of Christian's follow and support fascist, or fascist adjacent leaders. Jonathan Miller and I talk about Germany's history, the church's history in the United States, and the difference between Nationalism and Patriotism.

Had a fantastic interview with Dan Plys about his longboarding trip across the country. We talk about why he's doing it (to fight childhood hunger) and who inspired him (his father) and what his trip has been like so far. Take a listen.

Daniel Plys (an old friend from Duluth) is longboarding the entire length of the Missippi to spread awareness and fight childhood hunger. This was a passion of his father's before he died of cancer and is now something he himself is fighting for as well. Take a listen. https://kbjr6.com/2020/09/04/d...

Sorry for the long wait, but here's my latest episode.

Let's take a break from Religions and Politics and just have a heartwarming, hopeful story of how I lost my parents' dog...and then found it again.

This episode was recorded a few weeks ago, before the events in Minneapolis and the murder of Goerge Floyd by a police officer. I plan on recording a podcast that directly addresses this with a longer, thoughtful episode. However, in my interview with Megan Corse, she shares some of her thoughts and feelings about race in the United States, and specifically who she has experienced things in Chicago and Wisconsin. She explains that as a descendant of an African American, it is very real to her when black people are mistreated. I hope you enjoy this episode.
