Welcome to my page! Here, I will be sharing all sorts of interesting myths and legends from cultures around the world.

Today's myth fact is from Aztec mythology. Did you know that according to Aztec creation myths, the world was created through sacrifice? The god Tezcatlipoca sacrificed himself, his blood becoming the oceans and his body becoming the land. This sacrifice is said to have allowed the creation of the sun, moon, and stars, and the first humans. The Aztecs believed that the world would end in a similar way, with the gods sacrificing themselves for the world to be recreated.
