sharing my coaching exp so far
baka kasi akala ng iba, basta coach magtuturo ka lang ng strats, aral ng ginagawa ng kalaban and cheer mo lang sila ok na.
From what I learned about sa pag cocoach sa SIBOL Crossfire Team, Coaching is more than just the skills, strats and motivation na kaya mo ibigay sa players mo.
Coaching is being the leader behind all of your players not only through the game but also to build a strong relationship individually and as a team. Kailangan mong pag aralan how they react and interact with each other in order for the team to have a strong chemistry in and outside the game. Coaching is understanding weaknesses, weaknesses that you address to turn into strength. Coaching is listening to each and every player's thought about everything within the game. Coaching is to be the one who understands that it will not be easy but is also the one who is by example that anything, and I mean anything can be achieved.
Coaching is not easy, but I can definitely say that I enjoy this as much as when I was a player before.
Yes we might have lost our Gold medal chances at SEA GAMES, but I am still confident that this is just the start, a start for us to be better, a chance for us to talk it out and leave the bad memories behind us and look forward to our other goals ahead.
A big shout out to each and every esports coach out there. You are awesome!!
