5 types of Facebook posts to use for marketing

1. Text
Plain Jane. All type and no hype. The OG.
Text posts don’t include links, so they’re not meant to drive traffic, but they can be surprisingly good at growing your Page audience. Keep text posts short: Communicate something quickly to your audience, or ask them a question.
Or, be super relatable and funny.

2. Photo
A photo post can be any type of image, including a photo, infographic, or other artwork. You can add as many photos as you want to each post, but for 10 or more, consider creating an album instead.

3. Video
Video communicates the way nothing else can. It’s the next best thing to having your audience right in front of you.
Stuck for ideas? Here are a few types of videos to share:

Try these tips:

1. Define your audience
Before you do anything, you must first define who your ideal potential customer is and what they want on Facebook. Then, create a marketing and content strategy around that.

2. Define your goals
Why do you want followers? What do you want them to do? For most companies, the answer is, “Buy something.”
But it’s not always about money. Other common goals for a page are to:
👉 Build brand awareness
👉 Improve customer service
👉 Maintain a consistent brand image across social media
👉 Bring in traffic to a physical location
Your Facebook marketing goals will depend on your overall marketing strategy.

3. Plan your content strategy
No need to overcomplicate this. Your content strategy is:

4. Optimize your Page
Whether you’ve just set up your Facebook business Page or had one for awhile, make sure you have:

I’ve seen a ton of Instagram and Facebook updates last year, and it’s incredibly exciting to see what’s coming our way next!

While there’s no way to know for sure, I just wanted to share a few trends I am confident that will continue in 2023.

✨ Emphasis on Reels
Reels have become a vital part of Instagram, just like stories did before. The format has been a major source of traffic, revenue, and engagement for the app, and we’ve many Reels-related updates last year, right?

I expect that Reels will continue to be a focal point for Meta in 2023, with new advertising and eCommerce features coming our way. So we better watch out for this!

✨ More new Facebook Groups features
Groups are an important engagement tool on Facebook right now. Almost every entrepreneur online maintains their own FB group! The feature offers a valuable way for people to network, nurture interests, and form online communities.

If you remember, last year, Meta continuously improved moderator tools for Groups, and subscription-based groups now offer brands a new way to monetize their Facebook presence. Which was really awesome! And, importantly, Groups are still very visible in users’ news feeds. All of this led me to conclude that Facebook will try to attract even more businesses to Groups in 2023.

Successful businesses rely on competent and confident owners, but building the confidence to start a business is a complex process.
