Are you really “healthy”?

If living a vibrant life full of vitality is important to you, you have to understand that true health extends far beyond the surface.

The Wheel of Wellness has 8 essential spokes, each representing a key pillar of well-being.

🏃🏼‍♀️Movement: keep your body in motion, staying active and agile, and finding joy in every step.
🥗Nutrition: nourish your body with wholesome, fueling foods.
🧠Mindset: cultivate a positive outlook and a resilient mindset.
🤗Community: foster meaningful connections.
🍃Detox: rid yourself of negativity and toxins.
💰Finances: achieve financial stability and abundance to support your healthy lifestyle.
💧Hydration: our bodies are over 70% water, so we must make sure we are fueling our cells with fluids that promote vitality.
🤸🏼‍♀️Play: embrace the lighter side of life and find joy in every moment.

Remember, genuine health is a hormious balance of these pillars. Your daily jog and green juice are essential, but so are the bonds your nurture, the money you bring in, your resilient mindset, and your ability to let lose and have some fun 🎉

Ask yourself: How are my relationships with others? How is my relationship with myself? How is my relationship with money? How is my relationship with my environment?

🪴3 low tox swaps for ~sustainable living~

🪴In college, I worked for the university’s Office of Sustainability as an ‘Eco-Rep’. I taught Sustainable Living Lessons to first year students and worked with residential life to make sure that all on-campus events were as sustainable as possible. . .

I’ve already thrown the word ‘sustainable’ out there at least 4 times, but what does it even mean?

The three pillars of sustainability require that something is:
✅environmentally friendly
✅socially equitable
✅economically viable

🪴For me, these three swaps aren’t just about reducing environmental toxins for health reasons, but they’re long lasting products which save me money in the long run.
