Aesoph loves his wife, Hale, so dearly. Hale loves him as well, and so they got married. Aesoph was glad since Hale accepted him for who he was. She accepted every aspect of him, including his flaws.
"๐ ๐ก๐ค๐ซ๐ ๐ฎ๐ค๐ช." Hale said.
"๐ ๐ก๐ค๐ซ๐ ๐ฎ๐ค๐ช, ๐ฉ๐ค๐ค" Aesoph replied.
Aesoph is a gambling addict, but he never heard his wife complain... As if she is turning a blind eye to his habits. He feels guilty about his actions, but his habits are quite hard to overcome.
"๐๐๐ซ๐ ๐ฎ๐ค๐ช ๐๐๐ฉ๐๐ฃ?" Hale asked him, as soon as he entered their home. "๐'๐ซ๐ ๐๐๐๐ฃ ๐ฌ๐๐๐ฉ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐ค๐ง ๐ฎ๐ค๐ช, ๐ก๐๐ฉ'๐จ ๐๐๐ฉ ๐๐๐ฃ๐ฃ๐๐ง ๐ฉ๐ค๐๐๐ฉ๐๐๐ง." Hale suggested with a sweet smile. He just agreed silently.
Aesoph had decided to play one last time, but every time he gambled, he couldn't stop betting his money. Until, that 'one last time' never came.
"๐ผ๐ฃ๐ค๐ฉ๐๐๐ง ๐๐๐ข๐ ๐ฌ๐ค๐ช๐ก๐๐ฃ'๐ฉ ๐๐ช๐ง๐ฉ."
He always goes to gambling areas and places just to gamble. He also started borrowing money from loan sharks until he couldn't pay his debts anymore.
"๐ฟ๐๐๐ง, ๐ฌ๐๐๐ฉ'๐จ ๐ฌ๐ง๐ค๐ฃ๐?" Hale asked Aesoph worriedly.
Aesoph didn't ran away from the consequences of his actions. He doesn't want Hale to get caught in the mess he made.
"๐๐๐๐ก๐ ๐ฎ๐ค๐ช'๐ง๐ ๐๐ฌ๐๐ฎ ๐ฅ๐ก๐๐๐จ๐ ๐ฉ๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐ง๐ ๐ค๐ ๐ฉ๐๐๐จ." Hale hands Aesoph a pocket watch. Hale hug Aesoph, tears cascading down her pinkish cheeks.
In order to pay his debts, he had to work as a host in a host club and pay with his body for 20 years. He was away from his home, away from his beloved wife, and he swore to God that he didn't like this job.
After 5 years, Aesoph grew tired of his work, tired of not seeing his wife, tired of his life. One day he decided to escape, but he got caught in a hit and run accident.
"๐ฟ๐ค๐ฃ'๐ฉ ๐ก๐๐ฉ ๐๐ฉ ๐๐๐ฉ ๐๐ง๐ค๐ ๐๐ฃ..." Aesoph remembered Hale's words about the little pocket watch.
Before he fainted, Aesoph clutched the pocket watch from his pocket, hoping it wasn't broken. When he opened his eyes, he realized he was in a hospital room, with Hale holding his hands tightly. As soon as Hale saw Aesoph wake up, she hugged him tightly.
"๐ฟ๐ค๐ฃ๐ฉ ๐๐ซ๐๐ง ๐๐ค ๐ฉ๐๐๐ฉ, ๐ฎ๐ค๐ช ๐๐ค๐ง๐ !" Hale preached to him while lightly hitting him.
Hale kissed her husband's lips until loansharks appeared in Aesoph's room and took her with them. Since Aesoph couldn't do his hosting job anymore, Hale had to finish the remaining years to pay off his debts.
"๐๐ก๐๐๐จ๐ ๐ก๐๐ซ๐ ๐ฌ๐๐ก๐ก." Hale whispered to him.
It appears that the loansharks also paid for his medical expenses and hospital bills, which added up to his current debt. Despite her reluctance, Hale volunteered to finish the job in order to pay off her husband's debt.
"๐๐ก๐๐๐จ๐!!! ๐ฟ๐ค๐ฃ'๐ฉ ๐ฉ๐๐ ๐ ๐ข๐ฎ ๐ฌ๐๐๐!!!"
The loansharks proceeds to take Hale with them. Aesoph was left alone to his hospital room, his heart sank... And then he saw that he was holding the pocket watch. He opened it and revealed that the glass in the pocket watch was broken into sharp shards.
"...๐๐ ๐๐ฉ ๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐๐๐ง๐จ ๐๐ง๐ค๐ ๐๐ฃ, ๐๐ฉ ๐ข๐๐๐ฃ๐จ ๐ค๐ช๐ง ๐ก๐ค๐ซ๐ ๐๐๐จ ๐๐ฃ๐๐๐ ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐ฌ๐ ๐ข๐๐๐๐ฉ ๐ฃ๐๐ซ๐๐ง ๐จ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐ค๐ฉ๐๐๐ง."
He placed the pocket watch in the side table and cried his eyes out. He was losing his hope, not realizing that the pocket watch is still ticking ~
